'christmas in wonderland' shopping spree

What would YOU do with a bag full of money?

In "Christmas in Wonderland," the Saunders family braves the mall on Christmas Eve in search of last-minute gifts. The two youngest Saunders kids end up finding a lot more than that: They stumble upon bag full of cash. Not an itty-bitty bag of cash. A BIG bag-o-cash.

The money turns out to be fake. (Bummer.) And it belongs to a bunch of crooks. (Serious bummer.) But, before the day turns into a wild adventure, the kids go on a shopping spree like you've never seen. Ka-CHING!

There's a twist to their story, though, and some Christmas magic to be sure. In the end, they learn that the people around the tree are a lot more important than what goes under it.

Still, it's fun to fantasize about what you'd do in the same situation. (Minus the crooks, the cops, and the counterfeit, of course.)

So, tell us: What would you do if you found a bag full of money?

Being busy in the holidays is a great fun. Cruise's performance, in particular, has been singled out for being unconvincing, especially as a German, with a northern Midwestern accent, and the conspirators all sound British. The critics claim Cruise's glory days are behind him, and that the film was out of his depth. (Though he received his undergraduate degree in acting from Julliard, the premier arts school of the United States.) The film is based on a real life, almost successful, plot against Adolf Hitler. For more about why Cruise’s paydays might be coming to an end , check out this article on the payday loan blog.

I would buy a car, pay off all my doctor, and past due bills so I would stop getting harrassing calls from creditors.

If I found a bag of money such as this, I honestly don't know what my first reaction would be. I know my first call would be to my husband, who is a police SGT., and ask him the proper way to report or claim the bag of money. Once I was absolutely sure the money was legitametely ours, I would then try to live the dream that we have talked about for years - if we won the lottery. For starters, I would give a lot of the money to my sister Jen. She is married and working 3 part time jobs and her husband is working one full and one 1/2 time jobs. They are in dire financial difficulty. They are pregnant with their fourth beautiful boy! Their boys are ages 6, 4, 2 and soon to be newborn! Then I would give money to my parents who are raising my niece and 2 nephews - for about 2 years now. They have full custody of them and my mom works very hard to support them. Then I would make sure my elderly, not well inlaws had 100% care and possilbly set them up in the beautiful Brightview Assisted Living near our home. THEN, I would send money to my two sisters in law, my other sister and my brother. Then I would make sure my children and our family were comfortable. The kids are going to college in 1 1/2 years and we could use the money for colllege. We ourselves have four beautiful children! Their ages are 17, 13, 11, and 6. We would also make double generous donations to St. Judes, Children's Hospital, Susan G Komen, and the other charities that we donate to.
Ahhhh, to be able to dream! "A dream is wish your heart makes"
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Gosh, if I found a bag filled with money, I'd turn it into the police. Honesty is the BEST POLICY. If I was given a bag filled with money for me to spend..I'd first Thank God for His generosity and then begin to share it with family, friends and relatives who are in need. I'd put some away in savings, and then I'd treat my husband, son, and daughter to a Visit back home to be with my relatives in Nova Scotia Canada where I'd host what my parents started when they were first married-- "Rabbit Pie night". ( this pie is made of Beef, pork and some rabbit pieces cooked up in a pie with top and bottom crusts!" Mom used to make a "Chicken Pie" for those of us who didn't like the taste of Rabbit!!! Smiling Then we'd have loads of gifts to give..but wouldnt accept any. Whatever was left from the special dinner, we donate to a local soup kitchen along with a huge donation... We'd all then attend Mass at St. Lawrence Church in Fairview together, and gather around the fireplace and sing Christmas Carols welcoming Christ into our hearts.
If I had a bag filled with money, I'd make everyone else's wishes come true for each, and if anything was left over just for me, I'd find a needy family and help them as best as I could. I'm NO saint, just always want to help the less fortunate. My faith is strong, and my heart is grateful for just allowing me to live another Christmas in my life. Well it depends...since we're dreaming then I can assume that the money is free and clear...meaning it really was mine. In 'real life' thought I'd have to find an owner...just how is another story.

Depending on what was in there, I suppose I'd buy myself something after I bought what my kid needed and stuff for the house...we have no real furniture...but before all of that I'd have to catch up on bills. Yeah I know, not fun being an adult. Sad If there was anything left over after bill, kid, house and car repairs...I thank god everyday the car still works!...then I might buy myself something...probally something warm and fuzzy..like a sweater I'll never wear because I'll be holding instead of wearing... if that made sense. I don't wear sweaters because they're too constricting and weird to take off or put on, I like cardigan style stuff...I like easy peacey stuff, no complications please. Smiling

Always a Matt Dallas Swooner! But I'm prone to ♂ ♀ visuals!
