Normal guys can seem anything but normal when they are on a mission to meet a girl. Here's why you might seem creepy.

build-a-breakup07/08/09I recently received an email from a girl asking me for help breaking up with her boyfriend. I made this video as a tool for her, and anyone in a similar situation. ;) Comments: 11 |

Hey Brigitte,
Is it considered creepy when you are driving down the road and you look right and notice a hot chick. She looks back and sometimes it's an instant "Hey what's up? (with a wicked awesome smile)". Other times it's like questionable when she thinks I'm : creepy, a potential stalker, can't see worth a lick, or just maybe she's looking at you as if you're just another strange sight along the highway? I don't know what to figure out for sure, but I don't want to creep the poor thing out. Maybe you should do a piece on drive by fast lane acquaintances?

good 'anti-creepy' tips brigitte. will store them in the old memory banks..
I have bought some incredible things at Goodwill, including a grey cashmere blazer with the Nordstrom tags still on it, a new pair of Vasque hiking boots, a new down mountaineering suit ($25.00) that retailed for about $1200. These are things I'd never have indulged in had they been priced at retail. On the other hand, Goodwill has been a great place to dispose of all those vinyl Michael Jackson records I never got around to opening or listening to.
I'd be interested in seeing a show about ways women can be creepy-especially the "trying too hard" nails, makeup, decolletage, and way-too-tight clothes that communicate desperation rather than confidence, intelligence and good humor. Me? To quote Marvin Gaye, "First I look at the purse."

You got rid of unopened Michael Jackson records? This would speak volumes about your sense of timing. Please tell me you're not serious.
I never come off as creepy.. unfortunatley, I'm one of those " NIce Guys" ( See Brig's video 402) that usually seem to end up as a girls best friend instead of a flame. The only good part is, I can sleep at night instead of lying there thinking about how I screwed someone over just to get laid...although... my favorite T-shirt reads " I'm probably lying"
I apologize in advance for being the guy who can’t just let things go at face value and annoys everyone with inconvenient gray areas that no one wants to hear. But buying vintage clothes isn’t really a great way to recycle (I suppose maybe if you got it at a store but not from ebay).
I got off on a little tangent over the calculations so I decided to move it to my own blog (here if you aren’t the trusting type: http://www.tomstechblog.com/post/The-quot3bPowerquot3b-of-Information.aspx)
Don't get me wrong, initially I would have thought the same thing. But looking into it my calculations puts the new shirt at about 193g of co2 vs 1,012g of co2 for a vintage one off ebay (Plus cotton is one of the fastest degrading materials in a landfill usually gone within 5 years or so)
Hey Tom, you have a point with the Ebay shipping.
Donating your old clothes to Goodwill and picking up some new ones while you're there would be the most straightforward version of this kind of recycling... especially if you drive to goodwill on your bike with your bag of old clothes strapped to the back
Comment got posted twice and since I can only edit it and not delete it I thought I'd post a joke.
A dog went to a telegram office, took out a blank form and wrote: "Woof. Woof. Woof. Woof. Woof. Woof. Woof. Woof. Woof." The clerk examined the paper and politely told the dog, "There are only nine words here. You could send another 'Woof' for the same price." The dog replied, "But that would make no sense at all!"

Last video had problems also, took a while to play it. And after this one finished playing my web browser froze (I use Firefox). Not sure if it's just me, thought I'd post it on here in case anyone knows who at ABCFamily to notify.
Anyway, on to the video. I've always had a problem making eye contact, always avoid looking straight at a girl even when I'm talking to her. Sadly I'm that shy, is that creepy also? And I think it only fair that Brigitte post a video about how girls can be creepy.

Hey everybody! I know this video was up for a while on Friday then disappeared... not sure what happened there. Sorry if your comment got erased
