Listened to your podcast as well! You're pretty fantastic. Thanks for putting a smile on my face when I needed it most.
P.S.- If you want to make me jealous of living in LA, the you will go to the Hotel Cafe on the 15th to see Mieko and the 16th to see Emily Wells. Both are amazing!

A song on topic is Amber Rubarth's Crysanthemum Song, which you can hear free lots of places, like youtube, iTunes Indiefeed pop podcast (6/10/08), the Indiefeed site, etc. You can d/l in a couple of those. She talks, or sings, about the smile as therapy. And, Brigitte, you might enjoy her story found in several places,about how she decided to become a singer/songwriter, and decided to "follow her dream", as you have by leaving the Tundra. OK, that was a little sarcastic, but only a little. But in her story, she says, " so I put down my chainsaw and..." How can you not want to read it?
I would put the song on Blip (fm), but I haven't figured that part out yet.
Yolanda Puma has a nice rhythm to it. New Yorkers all know Yolanda Vega, who announces, but rarely now, the NY lottery numbers one at a time as drawn. Her thing was to sign off with I'm Yolaaaaaaanda Vega. I wish I had the audio. Love to see you try that!

I love this time of year. Its the best. Its cold and the snow is falling which means one thing. SKIING!! Whistler in 3 weeks and counting. If that aint a reason to be happy then what is. Anyone else into winter sports? Keep it clean people

When i send you my "smile without face" (some video´s ago) my idea was exactly that your interior reflect´s in your face. The other way around isn´t the same, it´s just an hypocritical attitude.
You twitted an article about how to be happy ( http://tinyurl.com/5p5xzz ) being more gratefull. That really helps. I wake up and thank God for a new day.

I am cheered by the sight of my big orange tea kettle. I am cheered also by the many strange sounds this tea kettle makes while working up to a whistle.
I am cheered by the rubber stamps I use on envelopes when paying bills - a housefly, a cockroach and a rat. I don't have a maggot, but I'm looking. There are probably even enough for one everyday of the year,
or...well....atleast 90% of the days

Someone looks super excited about learning a new trick. Maybe his new trick could be to look excited during your video blog.
Maybe you become happy when you smile because your subconscious self thinks you're only suppose to smile when you're happy. Then you go and smile for no apparent reason so it gets confused and releases endorphins to make you happy thinking it made a mistake.

Anyone in the Southern California area looking for a kitten? My wife brought home a couple rescued from her parking lot at work after a 3 day rain. they are now healthy and fat and sassy and looking for a loving home....
