This time, the 'Gilmore Girls' heartthrob is going to star in a comic book! Milo and his producing partner, Russ Cundliff, are putting out a comic book miniseries starring a character based on Milo himself. what is up with ABC Family! they tells us all "NEW SEASON" but it wasnt.. the heck! i was so happy that maybe we would get to see what would happen to every one and how loralie and Lukes wedding was.. this is all freaked up! i would really like to see what would happen.. it just [filtered word] me that they would do that.. I agree with most of the people here. I am a big GG fan and knew that it ended after Season 7. But with the commercials phrased how they were, with "ALL NEW" episopdes, it was implied by ABC Family that they had started filming a new season. Even when shows end like that for example, Family Guy, if there is enough demand they sometimes start up again. Shame on ABC Family's advertising department.

I was so excited when my best friend, another Gilmore Girls fan, informed me that ABC Family was showing "ALL NEW EPISODES" of the show. HOWEVER when I went through to DVR these new episodes I saw that they were recorded in 2006. I thought this might just be a programming mistake so I set it to record anyway... When I returned excited to watch a NEW episode I was VERY disappointed to find that I already OWN AND HAVE WATCHED these "new" episodes. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT! Just because they're new to the network doesn't mean they are NEW. Shame on you ABC Family...

You guys are being ridiculous. I understand the frustration of thinking that what they were advertising was actually world premire, never-seen-before episodes but if you were true Gilmore Girls fans you would know that they only made 7 seasons and that they stopped filming around three years ago. The episodes are new and never-seen-before on the network of ABC. They only just now bought the rights to the 7th and FINAL season. I am as disappointed as anyone that there are no more seasons being filmed but don't freak out on the network. Be glad they are playing the last season at all. Just enjoy what bit of the gilmore girls we get and hope they make a movie sometime in the future.

I to was led to believe that yesterday new episodes of GG was going to start. I was so excited last month when I first saw the new commercials. It does say "new episodes". This is false advertising. Im glad I was not the only one! I saw the advertisements for a new season of Gilmore Girls and I was so psyched!!! So I hunkered down and watched all of season 7 so that I would be ready for season 8. When I searched my tv for what time it starts....its not there. Through my search on WB CW and now ABC family, I realized that they are just starting to play a "new" season of repeats!!! We've been robbed and ABC Family should talk to there promotions department about how the ads came off. What a let down!

the ABC Family ads absolutely implied a *NEW* season. I was surprised by this. I'm a fan, but not fanatic about the show. I do think the way it was billed was misleading, I did think the episodes airing today would be "new". Very shady promoting by ABC Family.

Im soooo mad about this "new season". I already own all the seasons and i was hopeing this was going to be totally new. I waited for this since it ended 2 years ago.I waited all day and when i watched it i realized they where old episodes. This is just not right. Pretty annoyed! It was suppose to be a BRAND Spanking New Gilmore Girls.. But all it is repeats!! I have all of them on DVD if I really wanted to watch another repeat I can pull out my DVD's, I watch all the repeats as it is on TV. But as for myself & I am sure for all the other FANS of Gilmore Girls we all thought it was going to be a BRAND NEW SEASON!!!

At 5:30, my fiance called me downstairs and told me I was missing Gilmore Girls. I literally started crying because I had been looking forward to the BRAND NEW SEASON for the last 3 weeks, as soon as I found out it was coming. Then I had the bright idea to watch it online... That was when I found out it was season 7. I was pissed, to say the least. Why would you guys do this? The person who said ABC Family just bought the show is wrong. That is the channel I watched the last 3 seasons on, by the way. I'm hoping that they started making new episodes, but didn't give themselves enough time to finish however many they were supposed to have......

What a lie, huh? They were VERY clear in advertising the NEW season. Saying the G-Girls were back with new episodes. They just did it that way to get the ratings up when they aired the last season re-runs. How RUDE. Sure it's good for those who didn't get to see the last season, but they didn't need to be deceptive about it. We would have still watched. I sure will not, I've seen it anyway. AND when sweeps week is lurking about and THEY are biting their nails over ratings... I'm turning to any station BUT ABC Family. Big GRRRRR

I can't believe so many people are upset.. It seemed like they were really clear with the fact that it wasn't a new season, it's been off air for what 2 years? I wish the people from abc family could have been clearer about what was happening with the show What I thought was that they were starting an actually NEW series not the NEW one from last year. I would just like to say, like everyone else, that my mom and I are VERY, VERY upset about there not being a new season of Gilmore Girls!! We are the shows BIGGEST fans and we thought that we would be able to enjoy new episodes, even though we love the old ones, it would be great to see some new ones!! So this is what the deal is. On the home page of Gilmore Girls to abcfamily, its says June 8th, 5pm. So go tape the Gilmore girls at 5pm, or just watch it because for all we know the TV guide could be wrong saying the episode. Also I love gilmore girls too, and they need to start it up again. So just tape it at that time, who knows it might be the new season.

Advertising this as a "New" season is misleading and just plain wrong! We (my mom and I) got all excited about new episodes only to find out its just the last season "new" to abc Family. I totally agree with Heather! That is just plain WRONG. I've been a fan since the show started ( I was 18) and now I watch re-runs with my daughters (who are 8 & 6). They are still a little too young to understand a lot of what goes on but they insist on watching with me. We talk about what they understand and I explain what they don't for their age level. I wasn't sure what they meant by a new season when I first saw the ad for it b/c I didn't think they would bring back a show 2 years after it was cancelled, so I went looking online and found out that they were adding the 7th season. I was a little bummed. It's been done once before though, Buffy got cancelled and a different station bought the rights and brought it back. I was hoping it was something like that but it wasn't. I was happy though, I can watch the last season,yeah. I dvr all the episodes so I can watch them when I want. I'm just happy I can start watching season 7 today at 4pm.

its new to ABCFamily because this specific channel has never aired it before.

they dont own rights to the show, therefore, they cant make a new season even if they wanted to, its up the the writers.
