Cassie goes to New York City -- and what Charles doesn't know won't hurt him. Will it?
Happy 18th birthday, Cassie!
To celebrate, Aunt Naomi sends Cassie a first-class airline ticket to visit her in New York City. But there's a catch. (Or four.) The ticket's for the next day. Jenn's still in the hospital. Cassie will have to miss a day of school. And she won't be able to celebrate with Charles like she planned.
What's a girl to do?
Hmmmmm.
Cassie decides to go (wouldn't you?), and the minute she sets foot in New York City, she can't believe how much she loves it.
Maybe she loves it a little TOO much.
Why? One word: Julian.
At Naomi's party, Cassie meets Julian, a hot art student who invites her to spend the day with him. They check out Pratt (a prestigious art college), and he takes photos of her at his apartment. They really hit it off. In fact, they order Chinese food and talk all night.
Meanwhile, back in Lincoln Heights, Charles is waiting for Cassie's call. When she finally does phone, it's at 6 a.m., New York time. AND she lies about where she's been.
Uh-oh.
Charles thinks Cassie's just woken up when she calls, but Sage sets him straight and tells him she's just getting in.
Gee, thanks, Sage. But she IS right, and she's just looking out for Charles.
But Cassie and Julian just talked, right? So why does she feel compelled to lie to Charles about where she's been? Could it be that she likes Julian? Or maybe it's like Cassie said, and she and Charles are growing apart instead of growing together.
What do you think? Should Cassie leave Charles for Julian?

The episode was a good one. Goodness, Taye is taller than Eddie.
Chassie is just beginning to be tested. Knowing it would not work out for the Chassie relationship or Charles character on Lincoln Heights, I think Cassie should go with the brighter opportunity as she chooses college. If Chassie is meant to be, it will sustain. But, I want to go with the lesson that you take the best opportunity and better yourself. A long distance relationship is not known for enduring the test of time. But beginning at 18 yrs old and adding in the pressures of college, etc., a marriage is not known for enduring all those tests and stressors. I say go for the education and come back together later in time. If......, it should be.
WHAT'S WITH IT ALREADY BEING THE SEASON FINALE.
The show JUST came back on Sept 14th. You're telling me the show runs for just over two months and then what, reruns. Reruns ran me off from Smallville. And I really liked that show at one point.
I love Lincoln Heights. I dislike the treatment the show and cast AND FANS receive.
Can't wait for the next episode. I'm sorry, I mean the SEASON FINALE, ugh!!!

This is going to be the start of some drama,Cassie lies to Charles and Sage adds fire,but the truth.
Julian is a "sleaze bag"I think. I can't wait to see the 2hour season finale.

cassie in real life is soo old!!! why would anyone ever hire a 30 year old person to play a 17 year old girl man shes old. at first i thought it was bad acting but now i know its because she forgot how it feels to be 17 well anyways she's not the main character love this show but not for cassie hope they take both cassie and charles out!!!!
WOW, don't hear that very often. Quick run through of any show you've watched. Dawson's Creek, One Tree Hill, 90210 (old/new), Gossip Girl, etc. The characters aren't actually high school age individuals. And, I think she is doing fine. She exemplifies a young person coming into adulthood who does not know everything. She is knows what she wants to do, her art. And is is working her way through to her future. That's not a smoothly paved road. I think she's doing a fine job. But your hopes are a possibility. Chassie just may be on their way off the show. They are moving on to college.

I think she does very well playing a teenager and acting isn't bad either.If she was that bad i don't think she would still be playing the part and so many fans loving her and Robert.30 or not she looks good and doesn't look it.Can u say that when get her age or even close to it.

If anyone was following the chassie site after first season where she sent an email to Charles about her time away at Art camp and a friend took photos of her in a provacative way and somehow Charles ended up getting a an email from "CASSIE" aka really her roommate showing the photo... charles was pissed and they did talk for a week and Cassie tried to make it up to him. IT wasn't a good thing. I would think she would have learned her lesson but well... not now. THis guy is going to use those photos to post on porno websites.
She need to tell Charles the truth,unless the writers leave everthing the way it is as thought it never happen.Just don't let it cause drama for Chassie.

Charles and Cassie should definitely be together. I loved Jett Jackson but there is something about Julian that I just don't trust. And how dare Cassie's aunt try to push her on him the way she did!
Wouldn't suprise me if her aunt wouldn't be in on it if that happen.

Hope they stay together and Cassie need to tell Charles the true before it comes back to haunt her.Brake Chassie up thats it for me .They have been throught to much to brake up now.Their love have been tested and proven they are meant to be.

If the writers break up Chassie, they loose me as a viewer. The storylines should now focus on Charles and Cassie facing problems TOGETHER!
Cassie should and better remain with Charles, that is the best and most beautiful couple on tv!!

I hope Cassie did not do more than talking to Julian! After all, Cassie and Charles are the only reason i watch Lincoln Heights- do not want them to break up. I absolutely love the show...CHASSIE forever!

I'd be surprised, if later, it came out that something did happen between them. I doubt it. If it were Sage's character, hey, when opportunity knocks, well you know. But Cassie's character is different. And she's not being goody, goody. She's simply being a respectful young woman. Remember after the pregnancy scare, it slapped some sense into Chassie. I don't think that was a lesson, she would soon forget.
