this mud treatment's NOT good for your skin ... spoiler alert (airdate 6/23/08)

If you haven't seen the episode yet -- SPOILER ALERT!

The first episode not based on a comic has aired! Not only was this just as much fun as the comic, it fleshed out a lot too! Lacey and Wendy have their first fight, the mystery of Wendy's father's disappearance is explored more, and we discover that the Middleman has
a weakness -- the supernatural.

When recovering succubus Roxy Wasserman appeared, I immediately fell in love. Her knowledge of the supernatural, coupled with her fashion elitism, makes me want to see her in future episodes. (It also makes me wonder what she'd think about some of the atrocities I've created with the "Middleman" costume creator!)

And the Underworld looking like an office building? I thought this show was supposed to be "fantasy!" That was far too realistic for my tastes! (J/K!)

In the end, I'm glad Wendy and Lacey made up. After being covered in mud by a Terracotta Warrior all day and still not knowing the fate of her father, Wendy deserves at least one happy ending.
