Okay, so here's the deal: Remember a couple weeks ago when we offered you "Out of the Shadows", the great song from artist Matthew Perryman Jones for absolutely free? Well, we are at it again and this time...we have this wonderful new tune called "Breaking Out the Windows"!

Here's Matt's bio:

Born near Philly and raised in Atlanta from the age of 11, Matthew was really into the Athens, Georgia, scene, which produced such bands as R.E.M., Pylon, Guadalcanal Diary, and Mary My Hope. He started his own group in high school, and by the mid-'90s was playing at Atlanta clubs with his folk-rock band. He eventually moved to Nashville to focus on his music full-time.

It's working! This isn't his first song on "Kyle XY," and his music has also been on "Private Practice."

Matthew's a big fan of ‘80s music; he calls that "the era of epic art-rock and smart pop" and cites as influences such alt-rock legends as the Pixies, U2, and Echo and the Bunnymen. "I have always gravitated toward records that were grand and a bit overly ambitious," he says. "With ‘Swallow the Sea,' I didn't want to go the route of the low-fi indie record."
