Alexa Vega plays Ruby, a girl who turns her family's world upside down when she shows up on their doorstep. But it doesn't take long for her to prove she inherited the rock-star genes of her dad and uncle -- by transforming her cousin's downer ballad into a really amazing song.

Alexa Vega is from Spy Kids ppl. she sang in the sequel to the 1st movie and she's coming out in a new rock opera in theaters she has an amazing voice and I dont think she was in shark boy and lava girl i'm pretty sure. Wink
