The premiere episode of "Ruby & The Rockits" is full of surprises, but there's one that tops them all.
Ruby totally rocks as a songwriter!
OK -- maybe that's not a HUGE surprise. After all, she's got pop-star genes. But what Ruby does to her cousin's (Her HOT cousin's, BTW) boo-hoo ballad is amazing! She turns Jordan's sad song into a really cool anthem for the whole show. (We sense a pop goddess in the making.)
The song's called "Lost in Your Own Life," and you can watch the stream now.
As far as other spoilers go? Um, do we count finding your long-lost father, moving in with the family you never knew, and bringing your dad and uncle together onstage -- and in life -- for the first time in, like, forever?
Yeah. Thought so!

this is an awesome show!! i am totally obsessed!! lol. and i think alexa vega is an amazing singer and actress!!!!!!
i was amazed when i saw the previews for ruby and the rockits. i hadnt seen alexa since spy kids!!!! i love lost in your own life. its a really nice song. the lyrics send a great message

Reading others' comments - if you don't like comedy and prefer drama, then why are you watching this? With your lack of logic, you would not like any comedy - hardly fair to attempt to judge one. I found this show very funny. Further, the background if not taped before a live audience, then it is supposed to be as though it were taped before a life audience. Whether it is or not, who cares. If you only complaint is other people laughing at the laughs, you must have terribly huge egos. Why can't others find it funny too? Great show. I plan to watch it every week.
I have no problem with other people finding the show amusing. However, laugh tracks are put in to show the audience when to laugh. If their jokes are funny enough, the laugh tracks are not needed. And if they aren't, the laugh tracks are still annoying. Either way, they should go.
When you say that others have a huge ego you should rethink that
. Some people may just not like this show, but your wrong when you say that they don't find anything funny! You have just proved that you have a huge ego and are being a hypocrit 
. Your saying things that apparently others did, but your actually doing them yourself. So rethink about what you said. Everyone has different opinions it's not just up to you. So once again, I prove my point.

This show was HORRIBLE! It wasn't funny and the acting was awful! I hope this show gets canned! BRING BACK MIDDLEMAN that show was awesome!

! I couldn't stand it! I hope it's canceled and is never heard of again 
! I'm not sure what the Middleman is, but I know 10 things i hate about you is a great show. Hopefully they''ll bring your show back, but anyways i wish I could start a rebellion on this show so that it will be canceled!

I have a simple solution for you two. If the show is horrible, DON'T WATCH IT. It's not that hard. Stop complaining and find something else to watch. Or read a book. Or do SOMETHING else.
As much as you want this show to get canceled, you have no say in it. So accept that and move on.
Ruby & The Rockits was hilarious! My family was rolling with laughter. There is so many ways the story can go. I was thinking that something dramatic could happen where ruby needs a bone marrow transplant or something & the whole gang goes in to be tested & the results got switched between her father & uncle & everyone thinks the uncle is her father which causes disacord between the uncle & his wife, Danny is in the dumps because of disappointment and the cousin is disgusted because he thinks she's his sister. That would be one or two interesting episode
