about finalist jenziebaby
Posted Fri, 03/14/2008 - 08:30 — Rush'dWhen Chicago's Jenziebaby (aka Jenna) isn't studying, she's working out, playing softball, catching up on sleep, watching TV, wakeboarding, boating, or tanning ... 'all that fun summer stuff.' She says her hero is Batman, 'mainly because he's a badass without any supernatural powers.'
Thanks to Virtual Rush and 'Rush'd,' she says, 'I was able to experience things that I never have and probably will never experience again: win money just for being myself, win a free trip to L.A., improv class, be on the set of a show, and be filmed for five days straight. And I totally saw the oldest brother from 'Home Improvement.''
What were her fave videos on the site? Of her own work, she liked the clip she did on Carolina Mae, the character she invented for 'Greek.' And among everyone else's, she really dug it when ChiKappaDelta cross-dressed for success.

about finalist whitecup03/21/08And we saved the winner for last. Here are a few things you might now know about Whitecup. Her mom is her hero. 'I was a difficult and inquisitive kid,' she says, and her mother 'was, and still is, incredibly patient and kind with me.' Mom is 'always giving great advice [and] ... is incredibly open-minded .... I hope that I can adopt a bit of her patience and wisdom as an adult!' |

about finalist chikappade03/19/08ChiKappaDelta (aka Jay) is the oldest of our finalists; he's been out of school a few years now and is well into his adult life. But he remains involved with his frat -- Chi Kappa Delta, of course. Instead of studying and watching TV these days, he works in advertising and -- OK, he probably still watches TV. He says his brother is his hero, because, 'He's a professional firefighter, a great father, and a great brother.' |

about finalist ivory_rock03/17/08IvoryRockstar (aka Luke) is a man of many interests: 'I have been about every major there has ever been,' he says. 'Psychology, Law, Theology, Philosophy, Coms, and pretty much everything else. But surprisingly, I'm almost done with my Psych degree.' Makes sense: His fave class was Psychology of Personality. |
