about finalist whitecup
Posted Fri, 03/21/2008 - 16:30 — Rush'dAnd we saved the winner for last. Here are a few things you might now know about Whitecup. Her mom is her hero. 'I was a difficult and inquisitive kid,' she says, and her mother 'was, and still is, incredibly patient and kind with me.' Mom is 'always giving great advice [and] ... is incredibly open-minded .... I hope that I can adopt a bit of her patience and wisdom as an adult!'
About 'Rush'd,' she said, it 'helped me to realize if I set my mind to something, I can make it happen. It felt great to get so many people behind me -- my friends are amazing. I also have realized that performing is something I want to pursue. I've been dancing, singing, and acting my whole life, but I let it go by the wayside when I started school; now I realize that's where my heart is — so I must follow! Also, I still go on the site to chat with the friends I made. I have to admit it's a trip seeing myself on the home page J'
We asked Whitecup about her fave VR challenges. She liked her own take on 'Get Into Character', and her favorite effort by another contestant was Shelbwoo's presidential bid.

about finalist chikappade03/19/08ChiKappaDelta (aka Jay) is the oldest of our finalists; he's been out of school a few years now and is well into his adult life. But he remains involved with his frat -- Chi Kappa Delta, of course. Instead of studying and watching TV these days, he works in advertising and -- OK, he probably still watches TV. He says his brother is his hero, because, 'He's a professional firefighter, a great father, and a great brother.' |

about finalist ivory_rock03/17/08IvoryRockstar (aka Luke) is a man of many interests: 'I have been about every major there has ever been,' he says. 'Psychology, Law, Theology, Philosophy, Coms, and pretty much everything else. But surprisingly, I'm almost done with my Psych degree.' Makes sense: His fave class was Psychology of Personality. |
