saturday night: kiss the princess goodbye

Just try getting the image of Jake falling off the mountain out of your mind. Heaven had to cut someone's rope, right? But why did it have to be Jake's? Maybe she was more upset about the whole Karen thing than she let on. We've heard of cutting a guy loose, but that was harsh. Here's an idea: Replace that image with the one where he rescues Heaven from her dad's limo. Or with the one where they kiss in the lobby. Now, isn't that better?
But, hey, we’re getting ahead of ourselves. There’s SO much to cover ...
At the beginning of the episode, Heaven goes back home with a mission. Severin wants her to prove her dad is guilty. She wants to prove he’s innocent. Either way, she gets a really cute cell phone out of the deal. But that’s where the girlie stuff ends. In a matter of days, Heaven sneaks into her dad’s business, steals some important docs, swipes some runes from the Japanese consulate, and discovers that she's at the center of an ancient prophecy. Actually, she IS the prophecy.
Meanwhile, back at the loft, Cheryl's obsessed with painting the kitchen, and Otto's getting in touch with his inner Clint (as in Clint Eastwood, during his "Dirty Harry" years). But the really big news is that Jake's fiancee, who BTW he's never mentioned before, waltzes back into his life. At first glance, she's perfect -- but that image is shot when she kills Thomas Fleming (aka Professor Smoky Eyes). Obviously, there's more to Karen than meets the eye, and something tells us we won’t like what we see.
Speaking of things we don't like ... cut to the mountain where Heaven, Severin, and Jake hope to find an ancient mirror that will help unlock the mystery of the Marishi protocol. They're scaling the mountain, and everything's cool -- until something happens to Jake and Severin's ropes. Suddenly, they’re both hanging from the same hook, and, horribly, Heaven has to cut one of them loose or they'll both be history. She doesn't know what to do! Their ropes slip, and she has to make the choice. NOW. Jake tells her to cut his rope. She looks into his eyes. There's a moment ... and then she makes the fateful cut.
Did your heart sink when you saw Jake fall? Would you have cut Jake's rope?

I loved the show so much that i started writing the sequel to it. And i would be crazy not to have Heaven and Jake get together at least without a little complication. Anyway it is so cool I got the writers and directors e-mail and house address. And when I am finished I am so sending it to them. Whatever it takes to see more of Heaven and Jake. Samurai has like become a second religion to me. It is that important. I have had amazing results among my friends. They really like it but then again we are all kids.
I've written stories and stuff before - if you need ideas or something like that, feel free to message me. Anything to keep the series going. By the way, you're doing a great job with it so far!

help, can anyone tell me what the name of the song is that starts playing right after they kiss and is still in the background when they get back to the loft?? it's an awesome song but I can't find it anywhere and don't think its on the soundtrack.
also on a sidenote they TOTALLY left it open to become a series. and the better!!!!! i think there are going to be a lot of upset fans if they don't. and who else was totally crushed that jake wasn't there to meet heaven when she got back from japan?! i was like, what were they thinking?! but i guess they have to keep some drama....especially if they're going to make it into a series.
oh yeah, and i totally didn't know it was just a miniseries either. i saw tons of previews beforehand and was like...that looks dumb. but then i watched it and was hooked and found out it was only 6 episdoes and thought they better make more!
I was so angry when Karen killed him, he could have played an important role in future shows to help Heaven. And, it would have been neat to see a romance develope with him too. He was to cute to do away with.
As for Jake, Heaven made a tough decision. It was the right one. He had the same tatto on his back as her brother's killer. He has some past issues he needs to take care of before he can even consider becoming involved with Heaven.

I watched that part. I didn't know who she was going to pick. I think she thought that Jake would be alive still because he's really strong, and he's brave. So, I knew she was going to cut Jake's rope. On the other side, I thought the police officer was going to be going down, because he knows that Heaven needs Jakes help to defeat the girl, (finance). I was kind of sad at the end, when Heaven killed the enemy. I thought she was going to die.
Durning the end before she was fighting Otto, and Jake were talking, and Jake said that Heaven needed someone like Otto. Otto is a geek, and he's kind of cute. So I hope it works out for Otto and Heaven. Jake is cute, and everything.. But, I don't know. So, I wonder what's going to happen....

Jake and Heaven really do belong together u can see it every time their near each other and u could tell that Jake was into that kiss when they were in the lobby. So pleasse please please please make it a series I would watch it every week.

he is super hot and really brave. i cryed when he told heaven to cut his rope. i dont want him to die. heaven and him belong together he is always there for her. Please make this a regular, you wont regret it! i fell in love with this show withing the first like to seconds

i cant believe they even thought of ending it like that i loved it. They need to make a continue i want to know if heaven and jake back together of if he ever asks her 2 dance. when heaven and jake kissed i was so happy! but once his fancee came i was so mad. he was about to tell her he liked her!

I SO TOTALLY AGREE!!! MY HEART SANK WHEN IT ENDED WITHOUT JAKE AND HEAVEN 2GETHER!! PLEASE GIVE US A SERIES OR AT LEAST ANOTHER 3DAY EVENT TO END IT THE WAY I THINK EVERYONE WANTS IT TO!!!!!
I can't believe that they left the show with all of those loose ends! Are Jake and Heaven ever going to get together? What's happening with Soto? What's Severin's whole story and why does he know every detail of Heaven's life? and what about Otto does he find someone? But I still loved the show
I want to see more. They brought Sato back, so there would be no other reason to do that unless they wanted to continue the story. I enjoyed it.

Still havent been able to catch J. Chung on "Days of Our Lives" .... 10 ep. as Cordy Han but watch everything else as guest star "GREEK", "Veronica Mars," "CSI:NY," and of course "Inferno II"

I'm completely in love with this show! I love everything about it. The suspense, action, romance, friendship, morals, and the story behind it all. This is a truly amazing show and i give major props to the people who wrote it. When Jake was kissing Karen and Heaven was hurting I felt it. When Jake and Heaven kissed i felt my heart soar. This show not only made me sit in front of the t.v. for hours it made me feel like i was living it. This is a truly, truly amazing show.

They HAVE to bring this back! It was SO good and I'm super picky about the shows I watch. I LOVED it and the acting was awesome and the story was so interesting! The music was also brilliant. I really think this show would be amazing if they kept it going. I heard it was based on ratings, which [filtered word] because this weekend they went up agaisnt NFL season opener, the VMA's, and college football. But on IMBD website the interest went up over a thousand percent...that's A LOT! I hope they look at that. This story has so much more and I REALLLLLY hope they bring it back! At least give us one more--they can't leave us hanging like that! There is too much talent and unique stories for this not to come back!

Does anyone know how to spell the name of the ancient language that was written in the scanned scrolls and on the bones?
Every single one of the characters are pivotal in my mind! They all fit together perfectly! Someone mentioned Buffy earlier and I agree! Samarai Girl is the NEW and IMPROVED Buffy!!! We need MORE programming like this!!! But I REALLY wish they hadn't killed Fleming (the Professor) off. I hope he comes back like Soto!!!

This was SO much better than I thought they would be able to recreate! When the books stopped my daughter and I were devestated. I've taped the shows for her 'cause she works ALL the time! And we want MORE!!! We're begging!!!
I really hope this is not the end. I can't wait to see the runion b/w heavan and Jake.
They left a lot of room to grow the show. I cannot wait to see more. I hope the ratings were good enough for ABC family to choose to continue it.

i really hope that there is more! that this becomes a series. not since buffy have i enjoyed such a show that is funny, has love and where a girl kicks butt!!! i hate that it ended that way and i (and others i know) really really want this to stay on the air!!
I absoulutely loved this show, event, movie, which ever it is called. They should definetly continue Samurai Girl. I hope they do, it left off an a cliff-hanger, thats [filtered word], ahhhh what happens next, with jake and heaven, heaven and her destiny, and everything else. Well the "BIG" question is, did the show get a lot of ratings, hopefully like sky high, really I cant wait.

I agree with you 100%. I really loved the show. However, I really want to see more. Especially about Jake and Heavan. I loved Furr in Roswell and am glad to see him back. Hopefully. THe raitings were sky high.
I really hope that they continue on with this series I really love it, and it sort of left all of the fans hanging. Lets cross our fingers ABC family picks it up!

I really hope it happens. I loved the show. Lately I find that I don't really have weekly shows I love to watch anymore. And I hope this one is it. At least my irlfriends and I do. We all saw it and Tivo'd it cause I really don't know how the rathings things work.

The Samurai Girl is the most beautiful thing I have ever sean in my hole lifeI love her!!!!! She is amazing. I just cant belive my eye... The movie has been great so fare I am like on the 3rd episoed right now!
Heaven cuts Jake's rope, but hey, he is a ninja so he survives. Besides, the preview of tonights episode shows both Jake and Severin alive, but Jake looks like the mountain beat the crap out of him. Heaven and Jake belong together and Karen is a crazy psycho B!TCH. That kiss in the hotel showed it all. Anyway, that is my prediction.
I just can't see Heaven cutting Jake's rope. She is in love with the guy for christ sakes and if you paid attention to the previews Jake is perfectly alright in the last two episodes. Do you think their going to turn it into a weekly thing or is it just this weekend and these six shows?
