Jake’s alive! Wooooo-hooooooo!
OK, before you get too comfy basking in the warm glow of a hero brought back from certain death, remember that a TON more stuff happens in the fifth and sixth kick-butt episodes of "Samurai Girl."
First off, Heaven and Karen face off in the girl fight to end all girl fights. (Is it just us, or did you not trust Karen the minute she showed up?) Then Jake gets stabbed in the back -- literally -- by Karen, but he cheats death a second time. Speaking of cheating death, Heaven and Jake talk about the whole cutting-of-the-rope thing and, believe it or not, Jake’s OK with it. In fact, he’s happy about it. Must be a samurai thing, because most guys we know would carry a grudge about something like that.
Aside from all the major action, and the swoon-worthiness of Jake riding a motorcycle, the biggest thing that happens is that Heaven comes face-to-face with her own destiny. After helping to bring her dad to justice, she goes back to the place in Japan where she was found when she was a baby. There, she fights Karen (again, never trusted her), saves Cheryl (the best BFF ever), and defies the prophecy. Not bad for a girl who once upon a time was a sheltered little princess.
In the end, Heaven isn’t defined by what some ancient legend said about her. It’s like Severin said, she can be whoever she wants to be. (You can too, BTW.) Question is, who will that be? One minute Heaven looks really happy being an ordinary girl. But then, when she comes up against Sato and his ninjas, she pulls out her sword and flashes this wicked smile. Looks like Samurai Girl is here to stay.

Okay this was a really good show, they need to keep it going. They cant just have it end like it did, with the letter thing from Jake i mean come on he is going to come back. Heaven should not be with Ottow in the end, It should be Sharel and Owtto, and Jake and Heaven. I think that would be so much better off. I hated how it ended i mean with the one guy still alive i cant remember his name, but okay that was such a cliff hanger come on. PLEASE bring it back and the right people with each other, besides in the letter Jake said he was going to come back to where Heaven was and ask the new girl to dance, thats Heaven he does like her so come on bring it back, I would for sure watch it.
Okay, so this is going to be kind of long. This show is really good and it says allot that it's had decent ratings and 98% of its veiwers want it to come back. I really like this mini- series too. I read the books also and I was surprised at how much was changed; but I felt like this is one of those times where the motion picture version has to be considered a completely different entity. Also I felt in someways the tv version was better. I personally think thought that if they bring it back it is to be done in the form of another mini-series because I think a tv series will make it move at too slow of a pace.
I read earlier in the thread that someone complained about the chinese playing japanese roles. What you have to understand is that the Japanese put honor just about above everything else and they sometimes [filtered word] character that they feel dishonor certain aspects of japanese culture. We have seen in the past with other movies too.
Something else I wanted to ask though? At the end, was I the only one that felt that maybe Jake was already back in town? When you look out of the window of the diner its very rainy and dreery and When you see Jake with the radio it is very rainy and dreery looking too. Also I don't think Heaven took Otto's idea as a date but as him being a friend. Remember he asked her if she wanted to do take out and a movie marathon not diner and a movie. So the letter told her Jake was coming home to her and she probably mistook Otto's meaning. He probably meant it to be more like a date but she probably thought he was just trying to be a friend. She had made that mistake before with him.
Wait, WHAT? There were books? OMG I am so going to read them! I didn't know that.

i watched the marathon yesterday from 3 pm to 9 pm.
it was such a great show. like really! i usually like shows like greek and stuff but omg! as soon as it came on it was so interesting. and has such a great story line. such great action. you guyz should really make it into a series. =D

I really REALLY enjoyed this show!!! It had everything I've been looking for. Action, a great story line, romance and conflict. The supporting cast is great!!! JAKE is the best character (so HOT) and they really need to keep him as is. For me to change any of the characters would change the feel of the show (DON'T DO IT) If they do end up making Samurai Girl a series (PLEASE PLEASE) I think he'll be back for Heaven as she makes him happy. Sorry Otto your a nice guy, but Jake is for Heaven. I'm so glad Heaven kicked Karen's you know what! I liked how they ended story 6, it left many openings for possible future shows. Also, it's nice that there's a show out there that can satisfy everyone, both adult and kids.
Please ABC Family let us have this great show to enjoy!

Ok. I will be honest and say I have been a Brendan Fehr (Jake) fan for a LONG time. That is why I tuned in to watch..NO he does not need to be replaced. He's not perfect that is the whole thing, great sneer and all. But, he's still HOT as heck. Anyway, I started watching and I got hooked. So did the rest of my family. The action and suspense was great. I am waiting desperately for ABC Family to make it a series. I KNOW I will watch regularly!!
these "6" episodes can't just be the end of all of this. I NEED MORE SAMURAI GIRL. I NEED MORE BRENDAN FEHR ACTION. I NEED MORE BUTT-KICKING BAD GUYS... GETTING THERE BUTT'S KICKED. and its not jst me..... WE NEED IT BACK

Come on I have heard of cliff hanging a show to get peoples interest but dang this was just mean. I want to know how bad Soto gets his butt kicked for trying to attack heaven and from what I have read from the other comments several of them agree including me that Heaven and Jake should be together I mean serious connection there. It was sad when she came back and he was gone I mean come on. They need to either turn this into a series or run another 3 day event so we can all see what happens it is an awesome show.

Yes, make it a series but do this first: replace Jake...he's just NOT the right one. Good build BUT --> The big ears, semi-weird sneer and over bite...comon...Jamie Chung HAS to agree. She can do wayyy better in real life so why would we believe this guy has any chance?? I had a real stretch to believe she would even be attracted to this guy. She's like an 11 and his head is like a minus 15...COMON. You know I'm right. The comedy relief was great so keep the BFF and the other dude, Otto, I forget? ...too. This thing has some great long stay traits of interest that might well keep people tuning in for years. Lets dive into the myths behind her and oh before I forget...can we get some REAL kinda swordplay in there? Let's borrow some peeps from the Azumi movies to show us how its done.
Give some props to Stacy Kiebler, shes wicked hot huh? Not bad at acting and she...ohhhh...they killed her...real smarrrrrrt.

The producers need to make Samurai Girl a series!! When i first saw the commercials for the show i thought it was stupid and mocked it, but after watching the first couple of minutes i fell in love with the show. The story line and all of the characters are great. The way that they left off the last episodes seems to me like they intended to make more and I think that they should make the show a weekly series. Am I the only one?? I think not!!
Who wouldn't want to be able to hold their own? Stand up to any amount of opposition and kick butt. I really enjoy the mythology, and ancient writings, and I hope if it continues to see more of this.

I don't know what to say about Samurai Girl other than WOW! This event or mini series (what ever it is called) is amazing. I am a vet student who rarely takes breaks for TV, but I have not missed an episode of Samurai Girl. I just hope that the producers consider making more because the ending of the last episode was perfect to build on...Will Jake com back? Will Heaven have more troubles with Sato in the future? I think it is a great show that features a strong female lead and fabulous supporting cast. Lets all show our support of the show so more episodes will be created!
This marathon event is so good! I hate for it to stop and not continue. At the end of the last event, I really wanted to find out what happened next, now that Sato is still alive! I really urge for the people who made Samurai Girl to make it into a series! It would be really good. I wonder when Jake will come back to Heaven!
I loved it. I watched all three parts. I was scared. I didn't know who she was going to pick. The Police Man, or Jake. The one she falls in love with. I knew she wouldn't cut of the Police because she needed him to catch the bad guys. At the end when she defeated Jake's X-Fiance, I was like. OMG.. She did it. At the end when she was on the phone, she was like I'll Call You Back In 5.. I thought he was dead. I guess she didn't stab him hard enough.

I MEAN ITS LIKE EATING A CRACKER FOR LUNCH. U WANT MORE CAUSE ITS NOT PLEASING TO THE STOMACH . Loved watching Samurai Girl! What a great show. I would love to see it made into a series, I think it would do fantastic!! Especially since they got rid of "Wildfire" and replaced it with that crap they call "The Middleman", that show is a joke. "Samurai Girl" has a great storyline with tons of action and suspense that would give ABC Family more then enough material to turn into a long-running series!! What I loved most about "Samurai Girl" is that it wasn't completely predictable like some of the other movies and shows they've made; the audience was constantly on the edge of their seat waiting for what was going to happen next.
Heaven and Jake so need to be together!!!!!! If Heaven and Otto got together id be sooooo mad. Heaven and Jake are purfect for each other and I hope they get there dance!!!!!!

at first i didnt think this would be such a great show but i was decided what the heck i will watch it..... now I LOVE IT i got hooked after the first 30 mins. The next day i talked to my friend and SHE LOVES IT TOO! so please keep the episodes comeing! they are so great! i loved this show!

I absolutely LOVED this 3 part movie! It had all the great things: fighting, drama, romance, mystery...What more could we want? And since the creators totally left it WIDE open at the end, I think they need to make this a series. This show could so have many awesome seasons!!!
