If you've been touched or tickled by the lovable characters -- awkward Amy, perky Grace, sarcastic Ben -- of "The Secret Life of the American Teenager," then you've probably fallen under show creator Brenda Hampton's spell. Hampton is no stranger to creating shows with heart -- after all, she pretty much defined teen drama in the '90s with her breakout hit "7th Heaven." Yeah, that's right, the show that launched Jessica Biel's career and had a revolving door of guest stars, including sisters-to-the-stars Haylie Duff and Ashlee Simpson. And Emmy nominee Hampton was the creator, executive producer, and writer behind it all. Talk about a class act! With Hampton's magic touch, we predict big, big things for the cast of "Secret Life." Will Shailene Woodley (aka Amy Juergens) be the next Biel, for example? Guess we'll just have to watch and see!

I LOVE THIS SHOW! I am so glad brenda created it! She made both of my favorite shows she is amazing!
the only thing not realistic is the whole church thing with grace and jack i mean the people i went 2 school with who always talked about church were the wildest. Jack's just to preachy very unrealistic for a guy who had sex with a girl that wasn't his g/f. I just think the churchy thing was overdone for a show about teenagers it's great and everything the show should have morals it just wasn't realistic to me.
why is amy being so stupid?!?!?! why won't she tell her parents?!?!?!?!

"Picture This" got 0 stars. I myself saw it and felt this rating was completely fair. Ashley Tisdale was portrayed as the "ugly duckling" when that is not at all realistic...it SUCKED. don't bother watching it. really. that's two hours i will never get back. lol
oh and what did i miss in last tuesday's episode?
when the show started and ben asked her the big question i was so surprised i almost threw up and i just stoped breathing because it reminded me of me and i just couldent handle it when i was 11 i got a chance to marry a guy that i was so in love with and he was even better then ben and i blew it by making the biggest mastake of my life by dumping him for a hole and he did the most horrorble thing to me ever he asked me to bring him some segerates and told ever one that he had them and other people told other people and the teacher found out and so on and so on the found out i gave him them and he yelled out that i was not a virgan and some more and even after he did that it was so hard to break up with him but someone helped me and i am glad he did then i droped out of school and came to this new school and now that i have been watching this show it is making me think some people would think i was a good person and the person i am is not and if amy can make a simple mistake so can i and i don't want to make that mistake and so it has me thinking i should change
i would just like to say i can not wait to see this show.i will try to watch all the episodes because it looks interesting to me.you will be hearing a lot of comments from me about this show.i want to know how she handles being pregnant and how she tells her parents and the stuff she has to go through with friends and stuff,but im dying to ask a this question i have in my head but i'll save it.

im honestly looking forward to seeing this show. it looks very interesting and like its going to be a really good show. the truth is i can HONESTLY relate.. im 16 years old and pregnant. ive only had sex with one guy, and hes the love of my life.. we are both scared but we are very happy too. this show seems like im going to be able to relate to.
i can not wait 2 see this show i watch shows about this kind of stuff and i like 2 because the facts are more realistic 2 the world and alot of young females go through this situation. this show will probably mean alot 2 those women in your position. i will watch this show twenty-4 7

i can't wait! i love 7th heaven so i'm sure i will love this! brenda hampton will absolutely do a good job! i am only a teenager but honestley it looks good. the drama looks so good, it will be something all teenagers, not just girls, can relate to. hope it will be great!

At first, I thought the show was a little weird: who wants to watch a girl get pregnant and have a baby? Then I realized that is a great storyline for a greatnew family drama! Brenda hampton is so smart! I can't wait to see this show. I will be on vacation when this show premiers, but I'll be watching it in thehotel room!!!!!

I am intrigued by the possibilities that this show holds. I believe that it can go two ways, and those ways are on totally opposite ends od the spectrum. I hope that it is positive and as realistic as possible. I plan on watching it with my daughter.

I am so excited for this show.. When I was a junior in high school I became pregnant. I was the "good girl" in school. No one would have ever guessed I would be pregnant. Let me just say that you find out who your friends are. Anyway I am really excited and i thought it was a little ironic that this show starts on July 1st because my son was born on July 1st 2006!
