If Ben goes to Bologna this summer, what happens with him and Amy?
Who wouldn't want to go to Italy for the summer? On "The Secret Life of The American Teenager," Ben's been offered the trip of a lifetime, and of course Amy wants to go too. Will she get to go? Will he go alone? If he goes, will he stay, um, faithful? And either way, what'll happen to their relationship?
She's already told him there will be no sex for a very, very, very long time. That was not music to Ben's ears. Is that why he's started talking to Adrian lately? Sure, it might just be because he thinks she's a good source of relationship advice, but could it be because he thinks she might be open to a hookup? Ricky got jealous about their little hug in the school hallway, so who knows?
So what's up with Ben and Amy? Good times ahead? Rocky roads? What do you think?

i think ben was very much in love with amy. and still is in love with amy. but i don't think it's necessarily the best thing for him to be with amy right now. he needs to take a break and take some time for himself. amy's not treating him right anyways.
and maybe during that break amy and ricky will hook up. maybe it'll work out, maybe it won't. amy and ricky seem to be on two completely different maturity levels right now. ricky seems to be the only one of the two of them that's accepting responsibility and taking things like a man by getting a job and an appartment. amy's being whiny and immature. she's working and taking care of john not because she thinks it's the right thing to do but because she has to. and i have a feeling in one of the next episodes someone's gonna be giving her a huge reality check.

I don't think anything should happen to their relationship. Amy and Ben are a trong couple. Amy can let Ben go alone and she should be able to trust him. Ben is a GOOD GUY. He wouldn't go to Bologna for sex! He's not thinking about sex in general, he's thinking about sex WITH AMY. It's not like he would cheat he loves Amy and John.
Amy and Ricky SHOULD NOT be together. They had their fun night together and it got them into trouble. If I were her, I'd stay away. Ricky can be the father without being with Amy. It's not like Ben is infected with some virus, he can take care of John too. It's not like he has AIDS. All you Ricky lovers out there are making it out that Ben is bad guy. HE'S THE BEST GUY EVER! Try getting pregnant at 15 and finding a guy who loves you and wants to be with you inspite of the baby. I'll tell you right now, it's not an easy thing. Most guys wont even TOUCH a girl who's pregnant or has been pregnant.

Amy needs to let Ben go to Italy without her. I used to love Amy in the first season, but since then she's become a selfish brat. She is so ungrateful to her parents who actually let her keep her baby at 15 and help support both of them. She's also incredibly ungrateful to the church that gave her the job with insurance. Not to mention she treats Ben (the guy who stayed with her even though she was pregnant with another guys baby) like crap. She needs to think about someone else for a change and let Ben get away like he deserves.
ok Amy needs two different wake up calls: fix the attitude and she is not an adult she is only 15 she shouldn't have had sex in the first place and having a baby does NOT make you a responsible person. it actually makes you a stupid person. so Amy needs to grow up.

People have been saying all sorts of things, but this has never come up.
Ben is going to dump Amy in a further episode, not the other way around. That's the surprising part.
these are my predictions,
if amy does go to italy, amy is either giong to realize how much she needs ben, and how helpful he can be, or amy or ben will realize its just not gonna work and break up.
if amy dosnt go, i am like positive ricky will be at amys twice as much, he will get her super duper into him, so much that amy will make the 1st move, and think they will kiss and amy will end up leaving ben. i really dont want this to happen, but amy is calm and straight forward and not afraid around ricky, around ben she is mean and pretty much hates to see his face.

This is My Opinion:
Amy and Ben will end up together when this show ends.
During the run of this show, they will experience many trials which will test their commitment to one another.
To boost ratings, the writers of the show wil continuosly have Ben and Amy fight and break up only to later kiss and make up.
Because Ricky is the father of John, his relationship with both Amy and John will be a major focus but they will never become "one happy family" because it will lead by a bad example, and have young parents believe in the false "hapily ever after."

When you have sex with someone you should be in a strong relation ship with someone not someone that u meet at band camp and decide to have sex with,when you have sex you need to know the consequences there are diseases and there is pregnancy,and when you are pregnant and decide to keep the child you need to realize what you are going to miss out on and when you find out ur pregnant u need to tell the father instead of keeping it a secret from him like Amy did with Ricky she didn't come flat out and say im pregnant and Amy needs to grow up she is a mother and when she said to ricky "He wont even miss me" when she wanted him to watch him while she goes off to italy he will she is his mom not his daycare provider.

I Believe that Ben is going to go to Bologna and then meet someone there. He will get caught up in the moment and have sex with her. When he gets back he will feel so guilty about what he has done to Amy (betray her) and tell her eventually. They will break up. I know it sounds pretty sad but thats probably what is going to happen

I think Amy and Ricky should be together. It might not happen. But obviously the writters are going to make them flirt or kiss or something just to add drama to the show, so ready or not its coming. Besides everyone knows Ben is going to break up with Amy soon. In the end the just aren't right together and i'm not saying Ricky is right for Amy, but they have a son so they will be in eachothers life no matter what forever.

Here is what I think will happen... Ben will go to Bologna. Duh! Amy will stay home with John because either her mom will need her, her parents say no, or Ricky will say no. Then Ben will have sex with some Italian chick and Amy will find out and probably break up with him. Although, while Amy is at home, she will fall for Ricky. But Ricky won't fall for her cause he is secretly and deeply in love with Adrienne. I also think that Grace and Jack will both stay true and not have sex with anyone (not even each other). And Adrienne's mom and Rubin will find a nice house and Adrienne's mom will end up being pregnant. Finally, the baby that Anne is having will be George's and her boyfriend will never speak to her again (which means he will fire her too)
