It kinda looked like Ricky had sworn off Adrian, right? Not so fast.

At the end of last season on "The Secret Life of The American Teenager," when Ricky was getting ready to be a dad, it seemed like he was changing everything in his life. A lot of you thought he was over Adrian and would be spending all his free time with John and Amy.

But this week, we saw that Ricky's still hooking up with Adrian. Or trying to, anyway. Thanks, Ruben. (BTW, awesome exit speech, Ricky!)

So what do you think? Were you surprised? Disappointed? Confused by seeing Ricky go back to Adrian? Or are you so blown away by Grace's tragedy that you just want to focus on how -- and if -- she and Jack will be from now on? Discuss!

This couple is worse than Ben and Amy..... strike that, almost worse than Ben and Amy. I mean Adrian might love Ricky but he sure doesn't love her in my opinion. I mean the only time they're even together is when they're at school or hooking up, or rather trying to. Ricky has honestly been spending much more time with Amy but that was predicted what with John being not only at her house, but in her bedroom.

i think,....,not sure just throwing it out there for no specific reason, but i think that if adrian and ricky don't call the horny relationship quits soon, adrian will end up like her mother. you know, trying to trap him, get knocked up, feel guilty, become ben's 'other woman', just saying,....,it would be kinda,....,unbecoming.

I think that Ricky & Adrian are a good couple. I really think Adrian is in love with Ricky or a girl as pretty as her would be with someone else by now. They now each other better than they know themselves. Although Amy and Ricky have a Connection with each other because of John, sometimes it is better for them to love each other as family but not be together. In the end everything will work out. Grace needs understand that it's really not her fault. If God punished people for that reason like she says he did then a lot of families would be in her predicament. She's a good girl who made bad judgment. Still she should try and work things out with Jack, they are good for each other.

ricky and amy seem like a really good couple. adrien doesn't deserve ricky. underneath all the..revealing clothes, she's a nice girl. she spiritually became a virgin again, so she deserves some credit and someone more loyal than Ricky. i think amy and ricky should give each other a shot and see how they get along. i also think that Ben is too clingy to amy. i'm starting to think that he only wants sex from amy. yes he's loyal and nice, but i think he only wants 1 thing from amy. these kids throw around the word "love" way to much.

The majority of the people that watch this show are Ricky/Amy aka Ramy fans, so you speaking for everyone is kind of stupid.

& Ricky/Amy fans which ARE the majority of the people that watch Secret Life, HATE Ricky/Adrian.

Go to the fanboards & you'll see for yourself.

The poll results on here, the fanfictions, ALL of which mostly has to do with Ricky/Amy getting together.

I really hate it when people speak for everyone else just to get what they want.

I'm analyzing the evidence presented within the show. It's really too bad if Radrian's fantastic, well rounded romantic development upsets you, but I could honestly care less.

And just because a majority of fans APPEAR to be Ricky/Amy proves NOTHING. If that was the case, then why do magazines still have Ben/Amy topping #1 Favorite TV Couple Polls? What's on the Internet is NOT an accurate represenation of a show's fanbase.

I hate it when people try to shame someone or something else because they can't come up with well rounded counter argument.

I agree it's impossible to get an accurate representation of the show's fanbase. But...just out of curiousity, what magazine polls are you talking about? The only one I know about is the J-14 poll that had Amy and Ben on top. And 1) that was March edition which means it came out in February which means the poll may have even been completed in January; and 2) that poll was comparing couples from DIFFERENT tv shows. I remember Wizards of Waverly Place and Hannah Montana being two of the four other shows with couples on that list. So that's not a current poll nor is it a good poll to judge people's opinions about couples (or potential couples) on TSL.

We're only two episodes into the new season and Ricky and Adrian are already the BEST part of the new season!

Last season we saw the sizzling chemistry between these two characters, but on the surface, it appeared to be "just sex." That's not the case however: Adrian has always been Ricky's Constant. He continues to go back to her, no matter how crazy things in his life gets or whether or not he "commits" to another girl (i.e. he's gone back to Adrian while with Grace and after he claimed he was "in love" with Amy). Ricky doesn't even realize how strong his true love for Adrian really is. With Amy being the mother of his son, he's confused, and admitted as much when Adrian told him he didn't have to be with Amy and instead of correcting her, he merely asked, "Then what does it mean?"

Once Ricky works through his problems, he WILL realize how much in love with Adrian he really is. (Adrian allready knows this. We can feel her love and pain in every scene she's in with him...and even Grace can both see they're hopelessly in love with one another.) And between the progressive hug in last season's finale and all of the progressive scenes we've gotten in just the first two episodes of this season, I can already tell that Ricky is beginning to realize it's Adrian he truly wants!

Yes, Ricky went over to Adrian's to have sex with her, but after his discussion with Ruben, a seed was planted. He DIDN'T have sex with her not because he doesn't love her, but because he wants MORE than just sex with her. It was an amazing step for Ricky. And then HE proceeded to kiss her, instead of the other way around. Again, initiative on HIS part! Followed by one of the most memorable scenes in the series: Ricky's speech to Ruben. This speech was so telling because you can just see how much Ricky really cares and loves Adrian, enough to tell this right to her father's face. And then the next morning, when he came to her house, his FIRST INSTINCT was to hug and comfort his girlfriend after telling her the news. It was another amazingly telling scene about Ricky's true intentions. Not to mention, in the second episode of this season, we then see Ricky and Adrian making out and NOT having sex. They're very much going about their relationship in reverse: from the sex finale in the beginning to the truly meaningful friendship, love, and compassion in the end. And after their makeout, they just sat there and talked and joked and laughed like a normal couple. It was beautiful development for these two.

And while we didn't get to see the second talk Ruben had with Ricky, I do believe Ruben's talk in the kitchen with Adrian was also very telling: Ruben didn't like Ricky and his daughter having sex because he didn't believe that Ricky cared for her, yet in the kitchen, we see Ruben essentially giving his blessing to Adrian to pursue her relationship with Ricky (even the sexual part), and even wanted to get a house so that they could all have their privacy as she did so. To me, this indicates that something happened during Ruben and Ricky's talk that made Ruben believe that Ricky does indeed care for his daughter in a way that Ruben didn't realize at first. Boy, I would have loved to have been a fly on the car window during that conversation.

So I guess to sum this response up, I support Adrian and Ricky as a couple for life! They really are each other's One True Loves and it shows by the way they each return to each other when the times get rough. They can't quit each other. And their first instincts are to help one another. Radrian is by far the most well rounded and well developed relationship on the show. It has depth that shames the other relationships and I relish in the beauty between these two!

Please continue progressing this relationship! It's so brilliant and timeless.

I so agree. Except i don't like Ben and Amy. I think he really does love her but she doesn't love him. I actually think she looks down on him now because shes a mom. Ricky is a better parent than her because she is not Emtionally Mature really shes not mature at all. She thinks she is and she wants to be for her baby but she doesnt know what maturity is. When she figures it out i think she and ben could be together other wise I dont think it would work.

I can't understand how immature some Secret Life fans are that think that simply because they have a baby together means they're meant to be. They don't have anything else in common except John! What kind of relationship could they possibly have? Most families aren't perfect, as this show proves, so why in the world would Ricky and Amy have their baby and suddenly fall in love and be the perfect little family? It's not realistic, it's not probable, and it's not desirable. Writers and Producers, please keep up your brilliant work and I'll keep watching your amazing show!

OK listen here.....I think Ricky and Adrian are nothing but friends with benefits..
1. He goes to her when it is convenient
2. He never really had much to do with her in the first 2 seasons
3. She tolled him no more sex when she found out he was going to hang with Amy more because of the baby but i will admit it was nice of her to change her mind
Amy and Ricky have felt something for each other since the beginning of the show
1.They have a baby with each other
2. He has stayed around not like other teenage boys would do
3. He comes over every night to help out and even offers to come around more
4. He is so good with John and loves his son very much
That is why i think Ricky and Amy are better for each other

Yeah yeah yeah, everyone is entitled to their opinion but it just blows me away how stupid some opinions are....amy and ricky must be together? because they have a baby together? that's as childish a reason as because both of their names end in y. seriously people, grow up. sometimes families and children are better off if their parents raise them as friends. amy and ricky have nothing in common but band camp and now john. there's no way they would ever last. ricky has always gone back to adrian for sex because...hello!? there's actually some true feeling behind it. didn't any of you listen to the brilliant speech he gave ruben? or hear what grace had to say in the hospital? honestly i'm a huge secret life fan so I hope the writers and producers stay on the course of getting ricky and adrian together and official. I love Ricky and Adrian together i think they are perfect for each other and just because he had a baby with Amy does not mean he has to be with her. Ricky is stepping up with the baby but he still has a lot of issues that Amy doesn't need the stress of right now. Ben is a great guy for Amy he stuck by her through everything not many guys would do that considering john is not his and he is trying to help out to just Amy wont let him. I don't think she is being unreasonable i just think she is under an enormous amount of stress.
