As we end another season, let's look at how our fave couples are doing.
Things are seriously up in the air for two main couples on "The Secret Life of The American Teenager" this week. Right after Amy said she wanted to get engaged, Ben told Henry and Alice he wasn't sure he's into her anymore. That may be because of his mysterious Italian friend ... who just might be coming to visit!
Meanwhile, Grace dumped Jack, probably because he suggested they have sex again, but then he immediately called Madison. Um, will he start dating her now?
Another Bowman, Tom, wanted to get physical with girlfriend Tammy, but she wasn't into it. They're still together, though.
On the sunny side of the street, Ricky and Adrian went to therapy, where she opened up and he got to understand her better. Which led to him staying the night and telling her he loves her. Awww.
In ParentLand, Kathleen, Grace's mom, is way into a new guy named Jeff, MUCH to Grace's displeasure. At least Kathleen's happy again. And Cindy and Ruben are doing well ... so well, they've moved into George's old house with Adrian.
And over in the confusing part of ParentLand, George isn't sure his new son is ... HIS new son. The kid looks a lot like David. How will Papa Juergens react?
So what do you think? Where are all our couples headed, and what do you think might happen when they return next season?

I think Amy and Ben should break up, Adrian and Ricky should break up, Ricky and Amy get together, Adrian and Antonia need to get together, Ann and George does not need to get a divorce. Ashley should get together with that boy who is so into her.
Alright, I'll admit: Ricky and Adrian are my new favorite ship.
Ben and Amy are good for each other, but they should definitely wait; I'd rather they not become canon until they're much, much older. Ben needs to experience life, and Amy needs to come to terms with herself and grow up.
Ricky and Amy? No. Please God, no. They make PERFECT friends, and they're growing together with their son. The one thing I've always hated is when friends decide to ruin their friendship by becoming lovers... guess what? If something goes wrong, it's OVER. The whole relationship. Being friends is just too awkward sometimes. The only problem is, with Ricky and Amy, they have a son, so if they are awkward around each other, it'd just ruin John's life. Let them be friends, because it's possible to raise a child and love them unconditionally, and be friends. It's better than getting a divorce, I'll tell you that now.
Ricky and Adrian: I never thought this show would begin to be realistic, but I'm in shock and awe to how badly I was proven wrong. They fight, they disagree, but they LOVE each other to a degree that's so realistic, I never thought possible. This is something that you see in real life. THIS is something that could work. They're growing together... and if you missed it these past couple seasons, the season finale really put it in your face. I support this couple 100%.
I don't really care for the other pairings, to be honest.

alright ricky and amy fans...it's NOT gonna happen. Ricky and amy never really had real feelings for each other to begin with. they are sort of forced to tolerate each other because of john but you cannot mistake that for "unsurfaced love." yes, they have learned to get along somewhat and maybe ricky did say he loved her but ONLY as his son's mother. amy gave him his son who he truly loves and he is willing to befriend her for the sake of his son. So lets get our heads out of the clouds and think realistically. amy and ricky had basically a one night stand that forced them to have a relationship with each other.
ADRIAN knows ricky like no one else. they can relate to each other. they enjoy sex with each other. they've slowly learned to let their guards down with each other and not be afraid to love. That is what amy and ricky don't have with each other. Although some of you may think it'll be better for the whole ricky, amy, john family that they get together but that can't happen. Ricky gave his heart to Adrian long ago and you better believe that's where it's gonna stay. I LOVEDDDDDDDDDD THAT LAST SCENE WITH THESE TWO!!! made my heart melt and i'm so happen for the two of them

News alert Ben did not cheat on Amy. Amy and Ricky should and will never be together. There has not been one sane reason why this would be a good situation. So I guess yall have to watch something else. I think Ben has feelings for Amy and may be another girl but he did not cheat. Please Grow Up.
Hmm.. so Ben maybe has feelings for another girl.. but he didn't cheat? How in the world does that make sense? Either he didn't cheat, and he loves AMY, he cheated and he's confused about the situation, or he cheated and he lost his love for Amy, if he even really did love her. Having feelings for another girl is basically cheating.. emotionally, I guess.
Anyway, don't be so sure about Ben not cheating on her, because you'll see soon. I agree that Ricky and Amy shouldn't be together RIGHT NOW, but I do think they should be together later on.
here is what is going to happen... ben and amy are going to break up this season... that italian person is gonna visit before they break up though....
ricky and adrian are gonna have the same ups and downs as they usually do.... but then sooner or later they will break up as well and ricky and amy will get together... (she is falling for him)
jack and grace... he cheats on her and she takes him back... she need to let him go and get a new boyfriend.... possibly the new guy comming... that would be cool...

Okay. This may take a while, but here we go.
Amy and Ben- God will they just break up already! The new guy in the sneak preview was way better looking than either Ben or Ricky. Let's hope they get together in the new season.
Grace, Jack, Madison- Madison needs new friends. Grace and Jack are good together, and they were the only seemingly healthy relationship on the show. This wouldn't be fair to the fans making another circle. We already have Ricky, Amy, and Ben to deal with.
Tom and Tammy- Love them. They're both so funny and have great senses of humor.
Kathleen and Jeff- Jeff is awesome. I don't think she's rushing things, Marshall would've wanted her to date.
Ruben and Cindy- They're pretty good. Nothing going on here. I love it when Ruben gives advice. It's pretty funny.
George and Anne- This is the thing I'm the maddest about. We had all this build up with George, the breakup scene with David, and all this guessing about who the father was. I was relieved when George finally told Anne. Now I'm back to wondering, and it's not fun. The whole season was devoted to finding the father. Now we don't even know who it is! We also need to find out about the mysterious "Chicago Man." Mentioned in season 1. I need answers! Is that too much to ask?
So here's to drama! Hopefully it'll be a good season this time around.

i want to know what goes on between amy and ricky in the scene that was the last one on the preview's for the january season, he touches amy like he did in the very first episode
i really want to see them get closer and closer and then become a couple finally

Ben/Amy - I'm beginning to think they need to take a break for awhile. Amy is really mean to him sometimes.
Grace/Jack/Madison - Jack has cheated on Grace twice now, right? Time to move on, chica... As for Madison and Jack, pretty improbable pairing in high school, IMHO.
Tom/Tammy - eh. They pretty much fly under my radar. They both have sarcastic senses of humor. I think they will probably have sex in the next season. Interested to see how they will write that story line.
Ricky/Adrian - They seem to be doing better and trying to understand each other. I still think Adrian tolerates way too much of his emotional abuse, though. There isn't really anyone on the show I'd rather see either of them with, though. I think it would be awesome if they introduced a really hot, smart but likes sex guy for Adrian. Someone like her. They could do their AP Calc homework together, then get it on. I think she needs someone that challenges her intellectually/academically.
Kathleen/Jeff - No problem with her dating Jeff... big problem with them having sex. Aren't the Bowman's supposed to be the Christian example on this show? Act like it!
Cindy/Ruben - eh, again, they are kind of under the radar as far as I'm concerned.
George/Anne/Robbie's dad question
If they have both moved on from their past affairs, then it's cool if they are back together. However, I think George and Anne should go to marriage therapy, too.
As for who Robbie's dad is... (c&p'd from a thread on the boards) my vote is for Chicago Man. I don't think the due date would be bad for him. There was not that much time between Chicago and garage sex. I wish I had Season 1 on DVD so I could go back and look. Maybe I can find it online somewhere. The reason it can't be David's is because we are talking over a couple months later, not like a week. She was already showing when she found out she was pregnant (remember, Amy totally called her out on that).
Not to mention that it is considered a normal birth if the woman delivers anytime between 37 weeks and 42 weeks (term is 40 weeks). So, you have a 5 week window of "normal" in terms of delivery vs estimated due date.
Besides, if they don't tie in the Chicago Man angle from somewhere, it'll be completely random. Why even put it in there? Makes no sense. George was cheating with Adrian's mom, which in addition to the whole Ricky thing is probably another good reason Amy can't stand Adrian. It ties in the story and makes sense in the whole story of TSLOTAT. Of course, these writers have had other moments of randomness with no reason whatsoever, so they might not care about that. lol.

I think Amy and Ricky getting together would be a horrible idea. For John's sack Amy and Ricky need to at least maintain a somewhat friend relationship. If they were to go out Ricky would most likely cheat on her n there friendship status would be over. N having to raise a baby with someone u hate(especially if your a teenager) makes things harder for everyone including the baby. I'm not a Adrian n Ricky fan or a Ben and Amy fan but I am definitely an anti-Ricky+Amy fan they should just be friends
Amy + Ben - Need to break up. I don't even like Ricky/Amy and I can tell. Amy needs to learn to be happy with herself, her life, and her son before she can be in a relationship. Plus, Ben is more mature now but he needs to experience other women before he goes and decides that Amy is the one for him forever. Which he did in Italy apparently. He needs some time to himself, to figure out which one he actually loves and if Amy will forgive him after he admits to it/get's caught, should it be her.
Ricky + Adrian - GREAT TOGETHER. Seriously, the main reason this pairing is disliked is because of the rapid brainless Ricky/Amy fangirls who find Adrian to be some interference when I can't say I'd ever really like Ricky and Amy together. They just don't... mix, even for the good girl/bad boy relationship people like. Anyways, I thought their bonding in therapy was cute and I can see they're going to work things out now thanks to it. They go very nice together and are my favorite couple.
i can't wait til the new season its gonna drive me nuts not watching it but i have the other season on dvd.. but as for the show... I think amy and ricky are made for each other but they need to get passed everything that has happene between them and realize. Ricky and adrian dont belong together if you can cheat on each other than you really dont love that person. Same goes for grace and jack. Yeah they are a cute couple and both christian but they both think way to differently about things and Jack can't go without sex and he has proved that. Ben and amy shouldn't be together at all. Ben at the beginning was very obsessive and i believe he did cheat on amy and has a thing for the girl in italy and he should follow that and tell amy and be a man. and at the end when george didnt think it was his baby and everyone thinks it was davids. It may or may not be but remember the 2nd season when she told george she did sleep with that guy she knew and it could very well be his too..so who knows... I just get wait to see what happens and jan is to far away
Ricky and Adrien are so cute together.
They have both had they're bouts of hardships and they derserve to be happy. They are my favorite couple! 
Amy and Ben should go ahead and cut it off. It was nice while it lasted, but to me they aren't really that compatible. Jack and Grace may need to move on also. Grace shouldn't be with someone who won't respect her wishes. Then her mom. I'm really not sure about that whole thing. Kathleen does deserve to be happy but it seems all 2 soon. It hasn't even been a year yet. On the other hand i love that anne and george are together again.....kinda. That baby better be his!!!! 
Oh and i love the idea that someone said about Griffin falling in love with Ashley. That would be Great!

Ben and Amy: Will someone please break them up. They need to break up. It's getting way to dragged out now.
Adrian and Ricky: I don't think they should be together in the run long. For right now? Yes, leave them. They are growing together which is good, it's what they both need.
Jack and Grace: OMG seriously? They were my favorite couple on this show! They'll get back together. I'm not sure about this whole Madison thing though, that's weird.
George and Ann: They will stay together. It's his baby. And if it's not everyone is gonna be angry.
And last but certainly not least; Amy and Ricky: I know they aren't together but it will happen. 3/4 of the viewers want it and it will probably happen eventually. Deal with it.
Amy + Ben = Break up, at least not right now. They moved too fast, and I think Amy needs to be SINGLE for a while. She went right to highschool (pregnant on the 1st day) then started dating Ben. She's 16 and a new mom, she needs to learn to love herself (which clearly she doesn't by the way she treats everyone and she relies too much on Ben for self assurance) before she can be in a relationship with ANYONE. Plus Ben has a lot of growing up to do, just because he's a good guy and stayed with Amy through everything does not mean he's ready to get married and devot himself to Amy forever.
Ricky + Adrian = Stay together!! I don't know why so many people don't like them together, because I think they both really suit each other. Amy and Ricky don't seem compatible in a romantic way. Ricky and Adrian both had rough childhoods and I think they really do care about each other.
Jack and Grace = Stay apart! Jack has cheated on Grace TWICE NOW!!! She deserves so much better than that, even Ricky recognized that! Even after Grace gave up her virginity to him, he STILL cheated on her. Grace said in an earlier this season I believe, that Jack didn't love her enough to say no to her or any of the other girls. He has slept with quite a few people at this point. Grace deserves someone who will be faithful to her. She deserves just as much as she gives in a relationship back, Jack just takes takes takes.
Anne and George = SHOULD STAY TOGETHER. I think everyone was rooting for this at this point and there was such a huge build up to them getting back together...now the writers are going to bring David back into the picture??? I feel like this plot just keeps going in circles, either they stay together or stay apart. And either way Anne said she IS NOT IN LOVE with David, so if it is his baby I will be so pissed because he is lame and I was happy when he was off the show! He just bribes Anne and Amy with his money.
Tammy + Tom = I don't give a crap. I used to like really Tom but now these two just annoy me. They are unbelievably RUDE!
Kathleen + Her man = stupid. I don't even like that this is in the plot. Kathleen is a HUGE hypocrite and it is incredibly disrespectful to her husband's (of like 16-17 years) memory to be dating again after 5 months. And what kind of Christian mother tells her kids not to have sex before marriage but then she turns around and does it? If they get married that will be dumb.
Done ranting. I'm not very happy about they way this episode turned out.

Actually get YOUR facts straight.
Jimmy (The new guy) will only be on a few episodes, not the entire season, which means that him and Amy will not be together for the whole season. And anyway, nothing says anything about them falling in love. They flirt and then they kiss once and that's it.
Even if Amy and Ricky don't get together THIS SEASON, that doesn't mean they will never be together. You can't just assume things, you know? Ricky and Adrian have had the same relationship since the beginning of the show. They will be on/off throughout the new season as well. Which, by the way, isn't really called being "awesum" together.

ok now for the other couples: im just going to copy and paste what abc said and after each paragraph ill tell you what i think:
"Right after Amy said she wanted to get engaged, Ben told Henry and Alice he wasn't sure he's into her anymore. That may be because of his mysterious Italian friend ... who just might be coming to visit!" (Hallilulah!!!!! amy and ben better break up for real this time or else ill be pissed!)
Meanwhile, Grace dumped Jack, probably because he suggested they have sex again, but then he immediately called Madison. Um, will he start dating her now? (GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. i hate who ever wrote this episoded right now! they were finally the cutest couple as can be and you break them up.... grr thats all i can say and if he goes with madison omg i wont even know what to say. i hate madison she belongs with jason)
Another Bowman, Tom, wanted to get physical with girlfriend Tammy, but she wasn't into it. They're still together, though. (tom and tammy are both rude so i dont give a $hit with what happens to them)
On the sunny side of the street, Ricky and Adrian went to therapy, where she opened up and he got to understand her better. Which led to him staying the night and telling her he loves her. Awww. (BLAAAAAAHHHH! i think im going to puke that was so fake and they shouldnt be together. after all ricky confessed to george he loves amy.)
In ParentLand, Kathleen, Grace's mom, is way into a new guy named Jeff, MUCH to Grace's displeasure. At least Kathleen's happy again. (OMG! get over this stupid storyline. shes a slut and shes supposed to be a good christian and shes not making a good impression for grace. yes i want grace and jack to be back together and if her mom can have sex then why cant she????)
And Cindy and Ruben are doing well ... so well, they've moved into George's old house with Adrian. (im happpy for them! i wish they didnt move into georges house but w.e., and i wish they would knock some sense into adrian)
And over in the confusing part of ParentLand, George isn't sure his new son is ... HIS new son. The kid looks a lot like David. How will Papa Juergens react? (im extremely mad at this. come on!!! i thought we aldready cleared this up. if the baby is davids im going to scream. and i dont think anne would lie about that if she did then shes a hypocrite!)
ok i know unit or rex is going to have something to say about this but remember its my opinion!

adrien & ricky- i think they need to stay together they are truly perfect. they are by far my favorite couple on the show...im so glad they have finally made that committment. Ricky is to much for amy and adrien knows just how to handle him. plus amy is just to much of a cry baby for him. And he's to much of a bad boy for her! I hate seeing the amy && ricky 4ever bull...they hate each other...they can never be together people!!! Adrien && Ricky are amazing together and i pray & pray it stays that way!!
Amy & Ben- i think they should break up, so they can figure things out...they both need to work somethngs out! Not only men...amy needs to listen to ricky and ashley and try to enjoy her son instead of always lookin at him as a burden! But once they figure things out they shoud get back together! Becuase they are perfect for each other...I havent seen any other man on that show that could put up with amy like ben!
