Hooray for Molly and her twins, born Friday, July 10.

Congratulations to one of our fave moms of all time. Molly Ringwald gave birth in Los Angeles to a daughter Adele Georgiana and a son Roman Stylianos. They join big sister Mathilda Ereni, who is five years old. (Great names!)

Adele was born first at 9:01 AM, followed by Roman at 9:04 AM. FYI: Molly had them naturally. (WOW! We told you she's a super mom!) We wish Molly, her husband Panio Gianopoulos and their families all the best. (Way to go, Molly!)

One thing is, why is there so much sex involve in the secret life of the american teenager? Sex isnt like food. You don't need it.
On Grace's side, you shouldn't have sex until marrage. If you are ready and want kids. If you do have it before marrage think of the conqunces.

And I also think Grace shouldn't have had sex. She wasnt really ready and she really should have waited until she was married to Jack or who ever. Plus she should have talked to Jack, telling him she loved him and didn't want him to have sex with anyone else. She shouldn't have had sex with him just so he wouldnt have it with anyone else.

Ben has G2G! He needs to learn that Ricky's the father and he needs to be in their life. Amy and Ricky don't have to have a deep, deep relationship, but the point is Ben should chill. He needs to learn to calm down about everything. And for one, I think Ricky's a better father and he's better for Amy.

And Gilmore girls started off with yes, a single mom. But the show was more then that. It was them and their life. And I own all seven seasons, and sex was a big part in that show as well. So again, please leave the negativity behind.

And Anorexia and smoking and drugs are main topics of other shows.
Each show has a repeating subject. No argument there.
This is a family show and sex is something that families have to deal with and need to learn how to talk about openly. Those subjects are more dangerous subjects to introduce to a family show.

I agree with you, but unfortunately a lot of teens watching this show seem to get caught up in the glory of relationships, instead of the message. I think it's mature for Ricky to want to be in John's life without actually being with Amy. That's part of life. Just because someone has a baby with someone doesn't mean that they are supposed to be together but you can tell from the comments that most of the people on here are indeed teen themselves. I like that they talk about sex a lot in this show. I think it may make it easier to parents to realize that it's something that needs to be talked about. Or they can use the show as a way to bring it up. I plan on being open with my kids. I had sex as a teenager, but I was careful. I'm sorry I'd rather buy condoms for my son then tell him not to have sex only to find out he did anyways and got someone pregnant because I was to ignorant to think he would listen when I myself had sex at that age. I'll leave it at that or I will end up ranting....

This show has many more issues then sex. Why you can't see them when they're plain as day, i don't know.
And Sex is a main topic yes. Why?, because this show is focusing around amy's decision and teen life. Most teen lives are run by sex and wanting to have sex. Maybe not yours, and definately not all, but most. This show has had such great reviews and has boomed so much since the first season; that i do not foresee it being canceled any time soon. Just because you don't like the show doesn't give you the right to post that kind of comment in a blog like this. This i strictly to congratulate Molly on her great feat of giving birth to twins. So please keep the negativity to yourself from now on.

I think the whole Amy's mom being pregnant brought to much drmama to the show.
Brenda Hamptom the creater of this show likes to always foucus on one thing.
Like on &th Heavan all about Jesus. This show nothing but sex. Bring another problem .
Like Amy drinking and being irsponsible then she realises that she has to be responsible or else she loses her son. Since this shwo focuses one only one thing people are going to get tired of it and it will be cancled. I grantee. I have seen all of this before . When shows focus on different things people are more interested. It's not called Sex life of the American Teeenager. or Pregnant life of the american teenager.
It's Secret life of the american teenager. why scouldnt you have Grace do osmething Stupid like smoke or be anorexic. Just like how the writer is showing how its hard to be a teen mom show us how other things will be hard to. Stop having all of the characters just focused on sex. I know this show was about a pregnant teenager keep on showing us how it is hard, but you cant make the show all about Sex. Gilmore girls started off with a Single mom theame then it went off to something else because it made it more interesting.
