poll: no issues with ricky and ashley

Two-thirds of you supported Ricky taking Ashley furniture shopping.
Last week, we asked what fans of "The Secret Life of The American Teenager" thought when
Ricky took Ashley shopping for furniture. Her new room is big and empty, and she didn't want stuff from her dad's store. So Ricky offered to drive her to shop for furniture. When they got back, some people -- like George -- were not very happy about the two of them hanging out.
But what did you think? About a third of you (31%) said it was "very nice of him" to drive her, while another 30% said it was "no big deal." So 61% of you had no issues with Ricky being nice enough to drive Ashley somewhere. Like, what's the big deal, right?
OTOH, about four in 10 fans did have issues: 12% thought it was "a minor lapse in judgment," and another 12% called it "a huge mistake." Finally, 15% agreed that the two had "a major flirt session." Anyway, that's behind us now. Ricky's addressed the issue, and we've all moved on. Right? We have all of autumn to think about it, anyway.

I think there was a little flirting going on between these two
. Ashley is gorgeous and smart. And Ricky likes anything in a skirt. It would be an interesting relationship because, unlike Amy and Adrian, Ashley doesn't seem like she would put up with Ricky's crap. And I'm guessing Ricky would be fascinated by her because of that and fall madly in love with her. Tough guys like Ricky don't like doormats.

I'm not here to bash Amy and Ricky fans like I've done in the past, because I've realized that it's really not necessary. The point I want to make again is about the polls. Some of you people kill me with this nonsense. First, nobody cares about the polls. This is a fan forum for fans to come in and vent about what they hate and like about the show. With that said, it has no influence whatsoever on what actually happens in the show. Seeing as how the episodes are already filmed, it means nothing. Do you honestly think the writers and actors really care? I'm thinking no! Also, a lot of fans don't waste their time voting in the poll I know I don't because it means nothing. Again, almost 5 million people watch the show and sometimes only 5,000 vote in a poll. Do the math. That's nothing compared to how many people watch the show. Hell, a lot of people aren't even on this forum. Think about it.

Amy's feelings have always been questionable. Specially on this season, Ben has always tried to get closer - not because he wants to "do it", but because he really loves her - but she's kinda aggressive and insensible. She proved several times that she is selfish and that she doesn't deserve him and all that he's been doing for her. That's why he has to over think it on summer and that's why i think they should break up the time she needs to see how dumb she was. Although, Ben should see someone else. Someone who makes him happy, even he loving Amy. I think Amy needs see how hard is loosing him and develop the feelings that she's not developed yet.
What about Ben's jealousy? Well, I can tell you that, for me, he has all the understandable excuses. Amy doesn't share. Unlike him, she never really had an opened conversation with him. If they talked opened about Ricky, this situation could be avoided. The second and the last I can tell is: the one who's always trying to make it up is Ben. She's always pushing him off, but it's always been him who runs after her. It could have created the non-wrong thought that she's not interested in that relationship the way he is, maybe he could think she's not interested at all. (One more time, it's a communication issue.) If she went after him after he saw Ricky in her house, maybe nothing of this would be happening.
Anyway, it all indicates a need to learn with their mistakes.
I think they're meant to be together, but I also think that they - specially Amy - need to grow up and walk a long way until it happens
