Obviously she's not responsible. Even religiously it's not logic, because if God were to punish Grace for sinning, why would it be through Marshall dying? Through that not only would Grace be punished but so is Kathleen and Tom.

Anyway. Emotionally Grace is going through a ton right now. Obviously she's not thinking straight and obviously she's been saying some things that she normally wouldn't be saying to people, for example, telling Jack he's a killer (or helped kill her dad) and telling Amy that John was a punishment. It's all part of the grieving process some people go through when they lose someone close, they try to find a reason for it and the reason Grace thinks she's found for her father's death is her having great sex.

Basically, Grace will be able to get past this. And as time goes on Grace will be able to realize that she did NOT kill her father. Nothing anyone says to her right now can convince her that she didn't kill her father. Grace will have to realize this on her own pace, but she will realize it someday. And Tom certainly isn't making her feel any better about it.

I think shes going through alot of emotions. I lost my 16 year old brother 4 years ago. I went through alot of guilt that maybe i could ve stopped it somehow. Its just her way of grieving. Its sooo hard to loose someone so close. Now my 11month old son wont have an Uncle and it killes me! My brothers name was Shawn Nipper 1/23/89-11/26/05. me and my mom was on 20/20 right after it happened and about a year later we were on The Montell Williams show in NY about my brother. I understand what Grace is feeling.

ok so we know anne's baby isn't her boyfriend davids....IF george didnt get fixed or it didnt work it could be his ...BUT it could also be the guy anne slept with that she ran into at the airport in chicago that she knew from high school...to get back at george...that she told george bout after they slept together....and whats with amy being so bitchy to ashley....still hope it george's baby though

There is NO way Grace was responsible for what happened to her father. She's just being supersticious, but she's in a lot of pain right now, and we can't really blame her for the way she has been acting towards herself and other people. She definately did NOT kill her dad. She's just blaming herself because that's the way she's dealing with all of the pain inside. She does feel guilty, but this is one way of dealing with her dad's death. I hope she realizes that it wasn't her fault, and I hope her and Jack stay together for a long time.

Grace is just being supersticious, but I don't blame her, because If I were in her position I would definitly feel the same way. What's really sad though is that she's blaming Jack for the sex that they had..she said that she only had sex, because Jack asked her to, but really it was her who wanted to have sex that night. In the last episode..it seemed like Ricky really cared for Grace because she's his friend and all..he's changing! awwwhhhhh but bad boy Ricky is also pretty sexy

I think Grace is just in shock right now. Once she comes to her senses and gets over her dad's death, she will think more clearly and realize that she did not cause her father to die. She is just in an initial state of shock.

That is rediculous. Someone I know had sex before marriage and without birth control pills. There father and mother are still a live and there not pregnant.

Grace why would you think you killed your own father. Sex is a thing that just comes it`s fun for some people but one thing everyone knows is sex will never do harm to anyone!

duh grace didnt kill her dad! if god killed the parent of every teenager who has sex against their parents wishes, there would be lots of parentless teenagers out there! and grace knows he doesnt punish everyone, so what makes her so special?

That's just stupid! If those one in five really think that God will punish Grace by KILLING her Dad just for having sex then I want nothing to do with THEIR God! Because my God wouldn't do that. How could they even think that?

I really liked Anne's comment to Amy, something like "I don't believe God punishes us nearly as much as we punish ourselves." I thought that was gold.

It is ridiculous! God would never do that take someone elses life because of anothers mistake! she is not responsible!
