everyone going "it's george's baby." was getting on my nerves!

Anyone of you maynot know what it is like to be a mother or father. I do it is not easy even with a two year child. I hope all of you understand that Amy and Ricky don't have to be together just because they have a son. Grace feels like she is to blame but she will come to realize that it was not her fault for her father's death. God doesn't punish those whom choose to have sex. He lets them learn from their mistakes and then they realize that it was worth it when they know what a beautiful life they have created. As for Grace whom is not pregnant then it was a mistake and she will be forgiven by her mom and god only when she is ready to confess her mistake. I think that if anyone wants to disagree with me feel free to I don't care because I know what it is like to be a mom (not at a young age like amy) and what it is to loose someone you love.

I TOTALLY agree with what you said! I'm 22 and I have a 10 month old boy. I understand why Amy acts the way she does. After you have a baby you go through a roller coaster of emotions and everyone deals with it different. I understand why she didn't want Ben to watch the baby. I don't like anyone to watch my son that doesn't have experience with a baby, especially a 15 yr old boy. It is hard to take care of a baby, especially when they are sick. Everyone deals with the emotions different. I think she'll come around eventually.

im a big supporter of amy & ricky, but i totally agree with you about how amy & ricky shouldnt be 2gether just cuz of the baby. i dont like ben & amy cuz ben is 2 clingy & jealous. but sadly i dont think ben and amy are going 2 break up, & its just abc trying 2 make us think they are going 2.

I have to say... I'm kind of disappointed in this season. Here's my reasoning...
1. Amy has got a little bit too much attitude going on. The reason we all fell in love with her is because she was such a sweet girl going through a tough time. She's being ridiculous to the people that love her and are trying to help her.
2. Grace= drama queen. I understand that any child would morn the death of a great father. But for the writers to have her so set on the idea that it's her fault because she had sex, that in some way God is punishing her, is demeaning to the Christian faith all together. Any Christian would know that God is loving and kind. We are all sinners. We know right from wrong, but we all mess up. God doesn't punish people for being sinners. Life happens. Some of it's great and some of it's not so great.
3. Ann being pregnant... really? While I understand the dramatic affect this has on the show, I think it's a little silly. I would really love to see her and George get back together. I think there's a softer side to George that is really lovable that will eventually come out this season. Plus, in some way I think his character would like the baby to be his.
4. I really dislike the fact that Ben's Dad is engaged to a prostitute. He's one of my favorite characters on this show. His character seems to really have the meaning of life down. He's a cool parent, he's a generous person, he doesn't take people's crap.... oh and now he so clueless that he's going to marry a prostitute. Wonderful.
Mostly, I just hope this show doesn't go downhill now that the baby is here.

I couldn't agree more with you!!! I know Anne being pregnant is kinda devastating to the show (it wasn't supposed to happen, but she's pregnant in real life so it kinda got thrown in there), but I think some good will come of it. I think it's George's anyway. Remember their night together when he moved into the garage?

I'm still indifferent to amy, and I don't think grace is demeaning to Christians, really. I like to think I'm one, and I know I'd be doing that exact same thing if I was in her position. Molly is pregnant in real life, so unless they were to take her out for a season, her pregnancy had to be written into the script. I would also love them getting back together. Even if they say they're over each other, you can still see a connection between them every now and then. I don't have a very good liking to the Betty character, either. I don't think she's a prostitute really, but I just don't have a good feeling about her, at all....

I'm sure the show won't go downhill too much. Just have some faith! (no pun intended..)

WOW! I haven't seen the second episode. But reading what everyone has to say is crazy! I really feel bad for Grace because she blames herself for her fathers death. Its totally not your fault Grace. It happened it was just coincidence that you and him were having issues and what happened happened. You need to be strong for your Mom as for your brother he needs to realize that it wasn't your fault ans stop making your Mom feel worse. Everyone has sex God isn't going to punish you like that he will find another way. Stuff like this happens everyday. I like Amy but she really needs to accept the fact that her and Ricky had a baby and deal with it. Ricky has bee great but I'm not convinced that he is ready to take on the responcibility of Amy and the baby. I do think however that Ben and Amy should break up I think it is stress on Amy because now Ben is obsessed with SEX! But other than that the show is AMAZING mostly because Catherine Hicks is my FAVORITE show writer and she did do 7th Heaven my all time favorite show. Just a note, but sex is natural and its apart of life it happens and people need to understand that. Dong be mad because God created sex something for us to enjoy with the right person. Its a temptation that can only lead us to danager.

I just hate when they post the new episode the next day after it has already been 1 day of the episode comming out and it was on t.v but I don't have Abc Channel or atleast I dont know the channel for my area, so i hate waiting for it to come on here the next day when it has already been on tv.
