'secret' new year's resolutions

I DO NOT AGREE WITH UR NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS 4 THEM AT ALL!

Many things in todays generation has changed but we never really know who or what life may bring. Yea have a baby is a big deal but i beleave that if there were girls that are like Amy and really ok some what think things through life can be somewhat easier for that person. You live and you learn and you learn to live. We are all still young and shows like this really are good for teenagers because it shows that having a baby is not all fun and games. A baby is a beatiful thing but it can also keep you from living your life and hey this show has an impact on my life. I am not ready for a child and shoot I want to have fun and not raise a baby yet so lets all have a good life and live for the moment.

I watched most of the first season when it was on and I have mixed emotions about that show. First of all, I never in my entire childhood even thought about having sexual relations until I get married, which has not happened yet, and this series shows partially why. Second, the obvious intentional puns about comparisons to what is or is not acceptable as a Christians seems undecisive and sacreligious at times. It is odd how they throw some of the comments in to in random parts of the series. I do like the male character who does show respect to her even while she is pregnant, and as a young man in high school, that shows a lot of courage and dignity, more so than what you see from females or males in this day and age we live in. At times I really try to like this show, but many people I know, both offline and online, including me, can't seem to shake the feelings of black and white separation on what is best and not best to do, as a teenager or an as adult. It is correct that having a child at a young age does alter your life forever, and this point is definitely driven home. However, I don't see the show as a boredom lifter, a time waster, or as a soap opera, as some ignorant people present, who leave crazy blogs that really don't matter or have no bearing on the points or message this brings out or leaves behind. The final issues I have are specifically the way that they showed an underage girl in her very revealing bra as this is seen as an obvious sexual expression, and should have been left out of the show. Girls are always complaining about how a guy is a pervert or how they don't want their privacy or space invaded. Well allowing a girl to parade around like this on television is like doing the same thing right back to a guy and saying "it is ok" because they are a female. That is both hypocritical and rude, and that includes the sexual inuendos and passes she makes at the guidance counselor. Real world or not, we don't need this in the series as it represents all that is wrong with the subject matter and what parents and general public wants to prevent: teenage pregnancy. So I think this show is not entirely acceptable and should not have all the aspects it does. While some are good, it is overshadowed by the sometimes ridiculous and sexual gestures and presentations that are not necessary or really appropriate at all. Welcome to the world we live in!

ok i guess amy and ben really do get married. because i was doing something on my tveo and i found the info for the second episode of season 2, heres what it says

so i guess they do get married

I'm pro-ife (doesn't support abortion) but seriously, the kid is better off adopted! Amy thinks of herself as an adult but isnt. She is desperate for a normal life but can't have it because of the baby! Even if she did put it up for adoption, she would have to deal with the guilt of giving it up. They shouldn't get maried!! OMG she's 15, does she have any sense left. OMG this baby took her sanity!!! (

I think that Amy and Ben should not get married because they are only what,15-16 years olds. This is the first relationship for the both of them and they will miss out on alot if they get married. Who is going to support them?? Unless they drop out of high school and get full time jobs, there is no way they would survive on their on. I also believe that Amy isnt mature enough to be a mother. She even said it herself last season numerous times. The baby would be way better off being put up for adoption. However, if they did that, the show wouldn't be exciting to watch and would be rather dull. I can't wait for the new season to start though.

I hope that amy and ben stays together and their relationship continues to be strong. I also, think that ricky, since he is the father, should be more involved with the responsiblities. As for the others; Grace should stay away from ricky, andrian needs to be less skanky and jack needs to find a girlfriend.

adrian needs to be less skanky. i think that ricky should be involved with the baby because he has just as much as fault as amy for getting her pregnant, he should be paying for everything. and grace needs to stay away from him before she ends up like amy.

i think amy isnt a bad girl everyone always thinks that the girl is always resonds abile for teen pregentcey really it just as much as the guys falut but my sister had a teen pregentcy and it wasnt fun for her i still feel bad for her when the father just ran off and now my nefu is 1 year old hes an angel

Amy should let Ricky be in the baby's life, but maybe not be a provider (like a real dad). What i mean is that Ricky could like teach the kid to play sports and such. And Ben and Amy could raise him/her. why give Ricky more responsiblity that he isn't ready for? Amy and Ben aren't even ready, but they might be mature enough.
