Though Shailene Woodley's personal style is killer all on its own, we LOVE what her character Amy wears on screen. Finding clothes that are both comfy and cute to fit her, um, "womanly" body is no small feat, but Amy knows how to let her style shine through even as her body is changing.

One key part of Amy's look is layering. In Episode 3, when she meets Ben to go off to the state fair, her look is casual yet pretty -- so much so that Ben is instantly smitten when he sees her. She layers a sheer, white lace tank top over a short-sleeved pink and purple tee. This is an ideal date look, because the lace makes it flirty without being over-the-top.

As for her everyday look, Amy loves layering cozy cardigans over tanks or tees. She's also been seen layering multiple, solid-colored tank tops with a brightly colored cardigan ... like a white racerback tank under a pink spaghetti tank, all topped off with a green cardigan. Rolling the cardigan at the sleeves, too, makes the look casual instead of stuffy.

And lastly, instead of carrying a lumpy backpack in the hallways, why not make like Amy and rock an adorable tote? You can even add pins to it for a personal touch.

Remember the outfit Amy wore when she threw up all over the Merry Go Round??? Well I just wentto Old Navy and bought an almost identical outit. I bout it all for $27.00. I bought a peach tank top that gathers at the waist, a white T-shirt, and a new pair of jeans. Its really cute!!!! =-)

some of her outfits really suck. Some are cute, but some are SO WEIRD! Like in episode one, her outfit could've been normal but she had to add that hideous chinese coat thing. And the second episode outtfit was weird too. What if she actually showed her (gasp) shoulders!! Season 2 request- Make her outfits more normal and realistic!

I LOVE THE SHOW: I THINK ITS SOOOO GREAT FOR ALL AGES. MY SIS WAS A YOUNG TEEN MOM AND THE SHOW WAS SUCH A RELATE TO HER. OF COURSE MY MOM NEVER SENT HER AWAY , WE JUST HELP HER THROGH. SHE STILL GRADUATED HIGH SCHOOL AND IS A NURSE IN IOWA. I REALLY WISH THAT RICKY AND AMY COULD REALLY WORK THROGH AND COME TOGETHER IF ANYTHING BECAUSE OF THE LITTLE ONE ON THE WAY.
