And doesn't having sex for the 1st time definetly hurt?
Since it was Grace's 1st time it would hurt.
This show should of shown that having sex for the 1st time hurts so others would be scared to have sex, and not do it.

No one is to blame for Grace's dad being dead. But I totally understand why Grace feels like crap. After all while she was having sex with Jack, her dad was fighting for his life. She should have just listened to Adrian and not give in. She's probably going to be reckless now.

I have loved this show since the beginning but this season premiere has me infuriated! I am an adult, and I am not a religious person in the least, but the bottom line of the show appears to suddenly be shifted from abstinance to GOD WILL PUNISH YOU OR SOMEONE YOU LOVE IF YOU HAVE SEX BEFORE MARRIAGE! That is THE MOST HORRIBLE thing I have ever seen. It is NOT that Tom has Down Syndrome...he is a character in a show, a character written to respond the way he did...the WRITERS wrote the episode that way. Grace's descision to have sex had NOTHING TO DO with her dad's death, yet is sure was portrayed that way. I cannot believe that was written that way. I CANNOT BELIEVE that Grace's response after she had sex for the first time was that it was great and wonderful and "didn't hurt at all" and she "loves sex". How does THAT support abstinence? It isn't even true for girls...it is NEVER some miraculous experience for girls the first time...that part just supported for girls why it is OKAY to have sex! But then they turn around and pull that completely unnecessary stunt of her dad dying and Tom saying that and Grace crying and saying to God that she is sorry. How horrible is that!

Not to mention, I was already upset in the finale last season when Anne's new boyfriend mentions that she had sex with him right away....is THAT the message we want to send to the thousands of teenaged girls watching this show? And now Anne is pregnant? WHat the heck is up with that. I am truly disappointed in how this show has played out. There were allusions to Amy being tired and stressed, but it was not SHOWN just how hard it is for her to deal with the baby and go to school. I think that the show's writers have forgotten where they were supposed to be heading with this show, (what Adrian said to Grace to get her to reconsider was PERFECT and was SO heading in the RIGHT direction!) and they have turned it into a soap opera. If this does not get resolved properly in the next episode, I will not be watching any more.

I feel so bad for all those young, impressionable girls who have been raised to believe in God and that you shouldn't have sex before marriage. Now they may live in "FEAR of GOD" after watching this! I realize you are supposed to be "God Fearing" but I didn't realize those two statements were synonymous. Unbelieveable!

i no that tom has down syndrome but it was nobodys fault jack and grace having sex didnt make the plaane crash. i want ben and amy 2 break up and ricky and amy go out. ben is so retarded amy just had a baby i think ben watns adrain now becuse ssshe will give him sex like he wants

Wow. it really annyoing how tom keeps saying that its Graces fault that there dad died, when its totally not. i think it makes it worse on grace because her and her dad were mad at eachother before he died, thats gotta hurt. i always new adrienne was a good friend, im glad that she tryed to stop grace and jack from having sex, but if she wanted to have sex, thens she going too, even though she did want to wait till marriage. i so hope that ben and amy break up, it will probly be sad, but i think amy and ricky would be great together , since john loves his daddy so much lol. the first episode was awesome, really good way to start of the season, sad but good lol

I think Ben and Amy should break up only because Ben has not really had a serious relationship other than Amy. I hate it for Amy though because no one will want to date a teenager with a baby, and I don't think she and Ricky were made for each other. Ricky was just a cute smooth talker that could get Amy to say "yes".
I am anxious to see how they handle Grace's father's death since they screwed up her life by having her have sex before she needed to and then having her father die? Grace needed to wait until she was at least engaged or fully committed to her significant other before she had sex.

i dont know but i feel like, i dont want Amy and Ben to breakup but... i think it has to happen :T i think maybe Amy and Ricky need to try to make it work for John,but then Adrian 'loves' Ricky so, i dont know im confused on what should happen,

i feel bad for Grace too, cause it was the same night her and Jack had sex, and Mr.Bowman didnt want her too, but i think Grace was finally growing i guess as a person, and now she just feels bad and she feels like its her fault, its not though, and i dont think Tom should be saying its anyones fault that Marshall died, or that its anyones fault that Grace had sex, she thought she was ready, and i think maybe she was, but jeez Tom stop blaming people, but im not saying i dont like Tom, its just he's blaming alot of people.

hahah yeahhh and Why is Henry all of a sudden like AMYS HOT hah and it just got to Ben, and now he wants to have sex, that was dumb though, i mean she diddd just have a baby and he should respect that and so should she, but anywaysss i cant wait till the next episode

i'm glad she finally had sex its about time the ahow what a lot of christians actually do and its not her fault but I can't wait till the next episode hopefully she will talk to adrianne and we will finally find out what the heck happened and be clued in a little more

So, I can't believe that Grace's dad was the one who got the axe. I'm glad it wasn't Jack though, or her mom. I was glad it wasn't Tom until he started accusing Grace of killing her dad just because she had sex. I hate how the show kind of gravitates towards the whole "you're doomed if you have sex..." theory. When did Grace and her dad first start fighting? I must have missed that episode.

And why is everyone obsessed with breasts in this episode?

By the way, I like Ben and I like Amy. I like that they're together. And it'll be sad when they break up. But it needs to happen. Amy should only be focusing on one guy here: John. Ben is getting increasingly annoying, so he should lay low for a while. And Ricky? Is only taunting Ben because he wants Ben to blow up so Amy will kick him to the curb. (Which is why he offered to stay on Amy's chair after Ben walked into the room.) All three of them went from being halfway smart about things to being immature.

Because I feel like I know its kind of randomn and sudden for Grace's father's plane to crash but, I think it had to happen in order for a chain reaction of events to happen. Its just horrible though because Grace never got to apoligize to her dad and shell feel guilty forever.... it really stinks for her.. but I think that whole thing was obvious from the show info and also from the begining of the epidsode. Still so sad, and I cant wait for next week!!!!!

Awww, adrian changed soo much! She is such a good friend to grace now. I know grace is upset, and sad, but the least she can do is just hear adrian out.. Poor bowmans:(
