Ben is eating major crow. Not so long ago, he was telling Ricky he'd lost the war, because a poor kid can't afford to raise a baby. Suddenly, Ben's rich dad is making sure everyone knows that "Benjamin" is "not a prince." If he wants money to help Amy with the baby, he's gotta earn it. And what's more ... he'll be working with his nemesis!

k, if ben really cared about tht baby he would encourage ricky to take the job! he would wnt tht money for the baby, but no... all ben cares about is impressing amy with a job and reminding her tht ricky has nothing to offer thts y he doesnt wnt ricky to take the job, BEN IS BEING A SELFISH JERK.... I don't believe that Ben thinks he is better than Ricky. As he said in one of the last episodes he is actually jealous of Ricky(and Ricky is jealous of Ben too!) So that is why there is a competition...and Ben did not deserve to be treated that way by Ricky!

during tht scene, it seemed like ben was trying to manipulate ricky about the whole job idea, which he failed at because u cant beat ricky at his own game...ricky is trying to grow up and trying to do wats right...to him ben is in the way of tht, so he reverts bac to his old coniving self, but only towards ben...its impossible to completely intstantly get rid of your old unwanted personality especially ovr night....(both adrian and ricky are learning tht).....giv ricky a chance......both ben and amy r acting really selfish right now....it seems the only ppl who see the reality are ricky and ashley..... ITS ON TONIGHT!!!!! YAYAA

oh my [filtered word] god ricky needs to stop! he is the baby's biological father yes i see that and that he should be around for the baby but ben can take care of the baby soo much better! plus he is a much muchmuch better role model! has anyone been paying attention? ricky is a scammer! he made grace believe he loved her but he kept sleeping with adrian! and adrian actually loved him and he just tore her heart in two and all he had wanted was sex. he also made out with lauren amy's supposed "best friend" he also sabatoged the adoption, going against what he had promised amy that he would go along with whatever she wanted!
SO DOES ANYONE STILL BELIEVE THAT RICKY IS WHAT'S BEST FOR THE BABY? BECAUSE LIKE AMY HAS SAID SHE WANTS WHAT'S BEST FOR THE BABY! ricky has a past and issues and a real problem...and in case you havnt noticed he has been changing for the btr....if all he wants to do is sleep around y would he b so attimate on getting amy and his baby....ricky even sed he would raise the baby by himself if he had the means to do so....ben is not a good parent or rolemodel....ben was dumb enough to get involved with a preg girl, ben expects his dad to give him evrythng, ben does anythng and evrything for amy even if she is being really selfish and rude, ben wont even get a job without complaining about it 24-7, ben basically sides with amy on the whole idea tht she shouldnt hav to work, ben acts clingy and spoiled.... tht is not a good role model because he does all this wrong but thinks he is always right....at least ricky knows he is wrong and no one is going to try to teach their child to make the same mistakes they did, ricky has made it clear tht he wants his child to hav a btr life thn he did...i mean its almost like ricky is getting a second chance at life...to b a father, hav a job, raise a nice boy.....GIVE HIM THT CHANCE, HE HAS BEEN THROUGH AND DONE ENOUGH....the other characters just frowning on him as a person as u seem to think they should isnt going to help him change or b a btr person, its gonna make him hate everything more and become worse and worse....he doesnt wnt his baby adopted because he doesnt wnt his baby to end up in foster care somehow and grow up just like he did......notice tht evry episode used to hav ricky wit a girl....now all u see of ricky is about the baby..... he cares.... so far im team ricky...... we wil just hav to see TONIGHT!! YAY

I totally agree with you ksl2013! Ricky only looks for situations where he can help himself and get a girl. It does not matter that Ben is richer(actually it is he dad as we have noticed in the last episode!)
Ben is being very responsible by gettting a job to help with Amy's baby, because he loves her that much.
Does Ricky? NO!!!! Ricky only got a job because he is obligated to support Amy and the baby being the biological father, not because he wants to!!! Even if he says he is in love with Amy, how could Amy ever trust him after he had slept with Adrian multiple times and lied to Grace about his fake love for her. All he ever wants is sex! There! I'm done!

actually its the opposite, ben was clearly not happy bout working, he got a job because his dad cut him off and it is the only way he can prove to amy and othr ppl tht he is the best for amy and the baby....to him its all bout money and amy.....just wait till the baby comes, tht he will hav forever....he is gonna freak!.....ricky seems happy to hav a job and income actually, if u watch the other sneak peek ricky is proud to tel amy he got a job for her and it clearly means somin to him...she is then just like "w.e. thts nice" tht clearly hurts his feelings...... poor ricky, horrible past, comitment problems because of his past, insecurities, trying to make himself btr, yet still hated by all.....what do u wnt from him.....nd YAY ITS ON TONIGHT!!!! ya Ricky, is enjoying getting back at Ben & would no doubt do anything to get in Ben's nerves since he thinks he's so much better than Ricky. Despite all though Ricky does really care about that baby & possibly his mother. If you haven't figured that out yet maybe some of you guys may want to wach some episodes again more closely...Round 3 for Ricky!

Ricky is just playing a game - this is the first time Ricky has ever said he wanted a job. And the only reason he said yes was to get back at Ben. He is just scamming like he always does. . That's all he knows what to do. He thinks he is a master manipulator. Amy and Ben both know the real Ricky and don't want him around! Ricky is being shoved down their throats!

You can't talk bad about Ricky's job situation without it being true for Ben either.
Even Ben didn't want to get a job, he automatically assumed that his father would pay for the baby, typical spoiled rich boy. Hehe.
The boys started their job at the same time, so it took both of them the same amount of time to get a job, meaning, neither is better than the other, financially.
And the only reason Ben told Ricky not to get the job is so Ben can look more fit to be the father in front of Amy, and that Amy will choose him, too bad it didn't work, good thing Leo stepped in.

That was so funny! I love the Leo, he is so smart, and funny! I think that its good he is treating the boys equally and giving them both a job. Maybe they will become friends and stop fighting over Amy.
Amy doesn't really need either of them in her life, but the baby does need a male role model, Ben would make a much better one I think that Ricky.
Either way both of the boys need a reality check, they both need a job if they think that they are going to help Amy support her child.

If Ricky thinks that he's gonna win, he's sadly mistaken. Ben is gonna go through a major struggle from now until the end of the season also leading into next season, which is good for his character development. He'll come out stronger because of this. Ricky and Amy are gonna hook-up and Ben is gonna be on the outside looking in. Some new girl is gonna come along and pursue him. Amy is gonna get really jealous and try to get him back. They'll find their way back...TRUST ME!!

I think that Leo sees that Ben is acting in a very spoiled and unbecoming way. Any good parent would treat their child like he is Ben to teach them a lesson in my opinion. I think that Ricky really does realize that he needs to grow up. Maybe he wants to be the person that his parent weren't. Ricky is a tricky character because he keeps so much inside. He is like the tormented guy on the Breakfast Club, Y'know? You never know what is going on in his mind or what he is planning.. I loved his line about about having all of them before Ben could say porkchop. It was so cheesy that it was great! I think that Ben didn't want Ricky to take the job so that it would make him look batter in Amy's opinion. That is just very oily to me---but than again he has been doing alot of oily things lately. Maybe it is out of desparation?
