Once, he swore eternity to Amy ... but is he still feeling it?
As we wrap up another season of "The Secret Life of The American Teenager," Ben Boykewich seems to be changing in front of our very eyes. Before Bologna, he couldn't keep his hands off Amy Juergens. Now he has to get a little prodding from her DAD to make her feel wanted ... what's going on?
Could he really be in love with a girl who lives all the way across the ocean? So much so that he finds himself torn between her and Amy? The same Amy he once tried to marry -- ring, oath, eternity, till death do them part, and all?
But what's Ben gonna do, break up with Amy and move all the way to Bologna to be with some girl he just met? Or will he just end up breaking Amy's heart, driving her straight into someone else's arms? (Ricky, anyone?)
Are Ben and Amy headed for one last major breakup? Or is this just a tiny hiccup for a couple who's clearly meant to be?

Ben loves AMY. But when he went on his trip to Bologna, he mixed emotions with another part of his body, and thats why he's acting so cold towards Amy. He got a taste of something in Bologna (and I'm not talking about the pasta)
, I think Ben should be single for awhile. Then he'll realize how much he loves Amy, and how they belong together.
Amy and Ben goes to be separate for some time and this will help to come back the relationship. Amy and Ben summer that one does not live without the other.
I think that in the last AMy go Maried with Ricky but when the Priest question for Amy that you accept Ricky for your husband.
Amy answers no, and after some days Amy maried with Ben.
IF realy Ricky love Amy, why dont help Amy when pregnate ?

"You Don't Know What You've Got"
The teens skip school to go to the beach. Leo's mad because Ben takes Leo's new Mercedes. Maria (Jordan Monaghan), the girl Ben met in Bologna, shows up at the beach; through binoculars, Anne sees the girl kiss Ben. Ricky tells Ben not to break up with Amy.
Grace admits to Jack she kissed someone; he doesn't believe it was a quick kiss.
Mayim Bialik joins the show in the role of Dr. Bink, the new guidance counselor. Look for Dr. Bink to be mentally unstable and evil.
"Til It's Gone"
Kathleen and her boyfriend Jeff (Reid Scott) are discovered in bed by his mother, who's not at all embarrassed by this.
Ben's gal from Italy, Maria (Jordan Monaghan), wants him back -- and she calls her rich father to get his help. Look for Ben and Maria to make out -- and more?
Amy flirts with a boy named Jimmy in the grocery store. Jimmy gives Amy the nickname "Pimento." He's the son of Anne's high school boyfriend, Josh, who wants Anne to kiss him.
Jack thinks Grace is cheating on him by masturbating. She doesn't care what he thinks, because she's in a great mood.
Mackenzie Rosman, former star of 7th Heaven, guest-stars as someone named Zoe.
"Loved and Lost"
Ricky apologizes to Adrian for cheating on her, and they kiss.
Tammy's parents come to Kathleen, as Tom and Tammy have broken up. We learn Tom wanted sex from Tammy, and wasn't simply happy with having phone sex. Tom announces to Tammy's parents and his family that he's going to marry Adrian because they love each other.
"Just Say Me"
Griffin is still around with Ashley, who doesn't have a boyfriend.
Ben and Amy have split up. Amy admits to Ben she and Adrian are friends now. A girl asks Ben for help with her Italian homework. Amy pointedly tells the girl that Ben's very good with Italians. Amy runs into Jimmy again, this time at school.
Madison's written a book that draws on her experiences. Jesse (Austin Stowell) asks Lauren out on a date.
Grace has come up with a new sexual movement called Just Say Me, which is all about masturbation. The girls at school love it, while the guys feel threatened. It makes the news.
"The Second Time Around"
Amy kisses Jimmy.
Griffin sends Ashley a pizza--more specifically, he sends her his cousin, a pizza delivery boy who's 16, named Grant, and who falls madly for Ashley at first sight. The two may make out before the night's over.
Will George and Anne get back together? George heads to Mimsy's house to see Anne; instead, he finds Anne's high school sweetheart Josh there. When Anne heads back home to see George, she sees him chatting with a woman.
Moose has impregnated a neighbor's dog.
"Let's Try That Again"
We'll meet four key characters' parents for the first time: Lauren's mother Deborah; Madison's father Morgan; Madison's Asian-American stepmother Elaine; and Jack's hot mother Gigi.
Jimmy hasn't called back Amy, and Adrian's insecure about this because she fears a single Amy will connect with Ricky.
Madison bonds with her stepmother while talking about Jack. Jack and Madison are a couple, but he's thinking of reuniting with Grace because he thinks she needs him. Jack's mom prefers Madison, while Jack's stepdad Reverend Stone also gives his advice.
Kathleen may be engaged or thinking about it by now.
Leo and Betty are planning their upcoming nuptials. Leo and Ben discuss Ben's possible interest in Grace.
Amy and Lauren get Dr. Fields to take George out to dinner as a quasi-therapy session, but things are turned around and Dr. Fields talks to George about how much he dislikes his ex-wife's husband. Anne thinks George does need to talk to a therapist.
"??? -- Title Unknown"
Amy asks Ricky to kiss her, so he does. When Adrian thinks Ricky and Amy had sex, she sleeps with Ben.
"Mistakes Were Made"
Adrian admits to Ricky that she slept with Ben, and she's surprised when Ricky tells her he only kissed Amy. Ricky's angry.
At work, several customers note Ben looks depressed.
Other spoilers
A character or characters will attend a dance in the high school gym.
Kristin Bauer, known best these days as Pam on True Blood, will guest star in an upcoming episode. We don't yet know who she's playing.
Shawn Johnson will return to the show in 2010, in scenes with Jack and Grace.
According to Ken Baumann (Ben) something huge happens with Ben around episode 23 of this season; that will probably air in March 2010. Yes, that's a vague spoiler.

I read that too. The site that I get my spoilers from contains the exact same information and the spoilers have been accurate up until this point, so I think these too are accurate. Ben and Adrian have sex! Good. I've been for those two hooking up for quite some time. Not that I want them to end up together but I think it would be a good dynamic. It would shake things up a bit. The only thing that I'm really intrigued by is what happens to Ben around episode 23. There are so many possibilities that I can thing of, I just want to know which one it is. The rumor going around is that he saves Adrian from getting date raped and then he gets hurt pretty badly (life threatening). In the process kinda falls hard for Adrian and she likewise. That would be great, especially seeing how Amy would react to both sets of news. Ben almost dying and falling for Adrian. That would make for great TV if that was the case.

This show is a great one. This new season is going to have to have a short break up between Amy and Ben, all it is going to do is make both of them realize how much they love each other. Sometimes you dont know who you love until they are missing. I think they will break up and less then five episodes later they are back together. Ricky and Adrain are going to continue their journey while Ashley is going to have her first 'big" relationship. All this while a new member of the family is to going to make the show as interesting and amazing then ever before. This show has the potential to be on air for years to come. My final thought is GO AMY AND BEN, these two love each other and yet bumps in the road is making that a little fuzzy for both.
Ben and Amy should just break up. Amy and Ricky should be with each other. SHe Loves him and he has feelings forher..And Amys mom"s baby is not georges it is her ex boyfriends

I love how even though Ben and Amy will be broken up, Amy and Ricky STILL won't get together. Instead, Amy will go after that Jimmy guy. If the one-night-stand, John, Ben leaving for Bologna and Ben and Amy breaking up can't get Ricky and Amy together, nothing will. Instead, it's Ben and Amy who get closer and closer. It's SO obvious that the breakup is only temporary. If it's meant to be, it WILL work out. If it's not, it WON'T. Sometimes, your true love is NOT the first father of your children.

I think that Ben should either brake up with Amy or come clean!!! If Ben brakes up with Amy then i think there should be an episode where Ricky comes over for one of his regular visits to see john and it is in the day Ben broke up with Amy and so when Ricky comes over Amy is crying and upset and then Ricky asks what is wrong and then Amy tells Ricky and they kind of have a moment where they hug and stuff i think that would be AWESOME! any Amy + Ricky fans agree with me????

I agree with Kat10190 because in the 1st episode ricky pulled amy hair back of season 1 now in season 4 he gonna do thatn again so I think that Ricky will get together Amy but in the 6th episode he said he didnt care about Amy or the baby so why get her pregnant although he also said he never wanted to do anything with her but he's taking respondsibilities for his actions . when he was talking to his therapist he said he wantred to get Amy pregnant !

I don't think ben is falling out of love with amy. I think he's finally realizing he's A TEENAGER! he has his whole life ahead of him and wants to experience new things. which is understandable. but i do believe him and amy will end up together in the long run. they need time apart for sure! but they will get back together after they break up.
same i think they're breaking up ben and amy so they can increase the drama the same couple forever isn't entertaining to ppl so they'll split em up and then get them back together.i hope

I think that Amy and Ben should break it off. Ever since Amy had her baby she and Ben have continuously argued over and over. This is not a healthy relationship. They do not communicate well and are not honest with each other. This really damages a relationship and you can clearly see it on the show. I think they still love each other but hurting each other at the same time. Even though they love each other they should let each other go.
If you love someone you should be able to let them go. I think that is what they need to learn here most of all; same with Ricky and Adrien.
News flash: Arguing doesn't mean it isn't a healthy relationship. If that was the case, the divorce rate would be 99.9%.

maybe arguing does not mean that people dont love each other, because my fiance and I argue occasionally, but amy and ben have nothing in common and it seems like they dont even like each other. also amy treats ben like crap all the time. they never spend quality time together. ben only went to amy because of a bet (and i know some of you hard core "amy-ben" people are going to say that does not matter) but it does because he never had real feelings for her. also he was like " i love you " before they were even together a week. he never meant it. he may have grown to have love for her, but is not in love with her. on the other hand I DO NOT think amy and ricky need to be together. I think amy needs to be alone so she can find herself. This whole "let everyone have a bf/gf" crap is unrealistic. women need to stand on their own two feet. amy does not need a man, and honestly right now she is probably better off alone.

I'm glad to see that some more Ben and Amy fans are posting to keep this pairing alive; thank god the board isn't over run with Amy x Ricky supporters! (No offense to you guys -- but I quit reading this forum because it was really annoying me.)
I love the direction this show is going in. Obviously Amy and Ben had to break up at some point, because then there would be no drama! I'm 100% in support if them ending up together.
That being said, with all these developments, my favorite pairing in this show has switched to Ricky and Adrian. The relationship is just so... realistic and deep. They, by far, have the deepest bond in this show. I hope it all works out for them, as they are both good people who deserve each other.

I don't pay attention to who I'm replying to. I just reply to people who I either agree with or disagree with. It's not a big deal, it's not like I'm harassing you or anything. I never said that John has nothing to do with Ricky/Amy, because he does, but I do not think that Amy and Ricky should be together strictly because of John. I do NOT build my own fantasies in my head, I actually do pay a lot of attention to the show, and I get whatever belief I have of the show from what's going on in it. -_-

It's over between these two. They had a nice run but now it's done and over. No going back. I don't think Ben is going to right away break up with her though. I think he is going to start putting off breaking up with Amy and then break her heart. And of course leading up to Ricky and Amy!

i think in the new season Amy and Ricky will be together for a short while. On episode 23 Adrian gets date raped and Ben sees it and tries to help her. Where did you see those spoilers? I think that would be really cool if it did happen that way though. I mean, according to Kenny Baumann, he said something huge does happen with his character around episode 23 of this season. That's why I kinda do believe it since you said episode 23. Also, the whole Adrian and Ben thing would be a great dynamic for the show. I've always been good with foreshadowing and I said that Ben and Adrian would hook-up eventually and this could be a good way in which to form a bond between them.
I love how it seems like some of you guys think that Amy and Ricky and Ben are real people in the real world. It cracks me up how I even catch myself talking like they are real. haha
