We can't believe Leo popped the question to Betty ... and so soon!
OK, sure, so he doesn't know Betty's a "working girl," but how long do you think it'll be before he finds out? After all, the Bowmans all know about Betty, and, well, this IS "The Secret Life of The American Teenager": It doesn't take long for information to spread like wildfire. But we wonder how Leo will find out ... and from whom. And more important, if he'll ditch her immediately or stick around despite it all.
And what about Betty? Is she really into Leo for who he is, or for his money? But then again, what does Leo see in her? He barely even knows her ... since she doesn't like to talk about her job as a "court reporter"! Is he just lonely and enjoying the company ... or is it true love for these two?
And if it IS true love, then he'll forgive her when he finds out she's been lying about her job this whole time, right? Or is this engagement sure to be doomed by the truth?
What do you think? Is Betty in love for real? Will Leo stand by her when he learns what she really does for a living?

I don't think it's going to make much of a difference to Leo once he finds out. Yes, he may be a lil upset, but I think he's going to accept her for who she is. That's just the type of men he and Ben are.
I think he fell in love with so fast because he was lonely for a long time. I don't think she's right for him, but I don't think he's going to judge her based on her past.

I think Betty may come around. I think she might actally love Leo, and he definitely loves her. While they may be getting rushed into things, they are both very lonely, what with Leo being a widower and Betty having an abusive "husband" who she never even sees anymore. I bet when Leo finds out that Betty is an (ex?) hooker, he will be okay with it after the initial shock.

i think it is very stupid thay their getting married. they barely know eachother. and i think betty is just using leo for his money because as soon as she saw they ring she asked him if it was real. and if she was really in love she wouldnt care wether it was real or not. also, leo is just lonely now that his son has a girlfriend and hes always alone. he feels like he needed a girl to keep him busy and i think it was awkward how leo asked ben for condoms. and ben doesnt even need them...amy wont have sex with him!

i know this is a long shot but i think that ben's dad will either eget really close to marrying Betty or actually marry her and then find out about all her dirt. If they had a wedding, obviously the Bowmans would be invited and that includes Tom. The rest of the Bowmans know about her b/c of Tom and obviously they wouldn't just not say anything.
Or Ben's dad will realize that the only reason that he wants to get married is because he is lonely or is just like, rushing into things.
There is no way that it's staying like this.

I dont think that bem dad is doing the right thing by marrying her because first of all shes still married and i dont think she she really likes him i think she just likes him for his money and i think hes marrying her because he dosent want to be alone for the rest of his life so hes just marrying the first lady hes dated instead of seeing what else is out there so maybe ben might have a new stepmom but i dont thats such a good idea ecspecially the way she dresses and how she used to be a hooker or probably still is one.

Don't you guys love when people talk sh** online. Someone's always talking about someone's personality or the way someone looks knowing full well they have nothing to back it up on.
