We can't believe Leo popped the question to Betty ... and so soon!
OK, sure, so he doesn't know Betty's a "working girl," but how long do you think it'll be before he finds out? After all, the Bowmans all know about Betty, and, well, this IS "The Secret Life of The American Teenager": It doesn't take long for information to spread like wildfire. But we wonder how Leo will find out ... and from whom. And more important, if he'll ditch her immediately or stick around despite it all.
And what about Betty? Is she really into Leo for who he is, or for his money? But then again, what does Leo see in her? He barely even knows her ... since she doesn't like to talk about her job as a "court reporter"! Is he just lonely and enjoying the company ... or is it true love for these two?
And if it IS true love, then he'll forgive her when he finds out she's been lying about her job this whole time, right? Or is this engagement sure to be doomed by the truth?
What do you think? Is Betty in love for real? Will Leo stand by her when he learns what she really does for a living?

Ok Leo is pulling a ben on us now. He thinks hes in love with Betty but in reality he is not. He just doesn't want to lose the person he thinks he "loves" because he lost his first wife. And so he proposed to her so they could stay together forever. and Leo is taking things as fast as Ben did with Amy. Ben proposed to Amy really quickly. Told her he loved her really quickly. In reality leo is just acting the same way as Ben.

i think that just about everybody is completely oblivious to life and no of you guys would ever be able to survive in a real life situation like this. things like this do happen all the time and i do believe everybody that has posted would not be able to make it through. i have a feelin that Leo already knows all about betty's "secret" i mean look at her. and here's another things you guys don't realize. love has NO boundaries you cant help who you love. when you truly love someone you don;t love their mistakes. if this was true then none of you should support ben and amy or adrieanne and ricky DUH. and i completely understand where Grace is coming from shes has every right to push everyone she feels like it away she will come around eventually. this is her way of dealing with things. when shes ready se will be ready. she has alot of hurt. And obviously no of you guys has ever has kids. you think having a kid u are going to be this calm, cool, and collective sweetheart. U ARE WRONG! everything amy is going through all comes with childbirth! DUH i love this show and it relates ALOT to real life wether u wanna realize it or not. SO OPEN UP URE EYES PEOPLE AND STOP BEING SO NIEVE AND SELFISH LIKE LAUREN AND MADISON HAVE A HEART PEOPLE!

I do agree with you I got pregnant with my first child at seventeen and had him four months after I turned eighteen, my husband and I went through so much after he was born and my husband did not have a good past he was not really a good person when I met him, but we worked threw it and still are. I am rasing his daughter from a previous relationship, so I can relate to ben in ways also.
Well If he really like's Betty than it wouldn't matter to him if she was a hooker, but i bet he would still be kinda shocked. I can't wait to watch the new episode!

They could have written the story a little more seriously, she thinks that she killed her father by having sex ? I mean come the [filtered word] on, anyone who thinks that is a dumbass.

well this is kinda realistiy...when someones parent dies the kid sometimes blame themselves. and grace is a christian...and so am i. and if i did decide to have sex and something like that happened, i'd probably think i was getting punished for doing it.
This is off topic but i have to say what I feel:
I don't understand why so many people want Ricky and Amy together, are these people twelve? The only people I can see wanting them together are little kids who just want a fairytale ending. Ricky cheats! In what way does this make him a good father and/or husband (at a later date?)? He's a jerk who has no considerations for others around him, i.e. fooling around with Adrian when he has no intention of staying with her, telling Amy he wanted a relationship, sleeping with her and dumping her, he constantly said he was only with Grace to get in her pants, and countless other ways... Yes, he has come a long way and is a slightly better guy, but he in no way deserves Amy. Amy needs someone strong, faithful, nice, you know, some good attributes. Ben is not this either, but he is a way better choice than Ricky. Though, when choosing someone to help raise a child you never want the phrase "is a better choice" to determine who you date or marry. Women tend to lower their standards, most without even noticing it, they pick these jacka** guys who do one nice thing for them and then they think that this guy is their prince. For a woman to even want a "prince" is demeaning to women. Why can't Amy be a struggling teen mom, who is single, happy being single, and doing the best she can? She constantly has to have some guy fighting for her.
Plus, in my opinion, anyone who thinks that because they had sex God punishes them by killing their father is foolish.
This may look like I'm ranting (and I kind of am) but I do love this show, I just think some of the things they portray is ridiculous, it's like a disney movie.
First of all, I agree with you when you say that Ricky cheats and blablabla. But he is changing slowly. He's trying. Or.. he's trying to try. It's not easy for him. He had a horrible life and a horrible family. He needs help, and its great that he's trying to change. He is a good father because he's there for his child and Amy, even though they aren't together. He didn't back away from his responsibility as a father. And he knew that things were going to be tough. Yes, it is wrong for him to sleep with Adrian even though he doesn't want to stay with her. But, Adrian is easy to have sex with and he likes that she doesn't ever say no. It's a stumbling block for him, he can't change THAT fast. Okay, and yes, he did only go out with Grace to get in her pants. But he said sorry and he felt bad about that. Guys can't be perfect, everyone has a bad side. Personally, I think Ricky is much better than Ben. Ben is just a clingy, sex-obsessive wussy who doesn't even trust his own girlfriend. Not to mention he's VERY annoying. Oh come on, Amy is 15 years old. She can't do this by herself. She has her family and everything, but it's not the same as having your boyfriend/husband there by your side.
But I agree completely about the sex/death thing. It's just stupid.
i know ricky does cheat on every one and i do kinda want them to be together but then again i would not like a boy who is a father of my baby going around sleeping and getting laid with other girls,,,,that would be so bad

The reason everybody wants to see Amy and Ricky together is that people want fairytale endings. Why do you think Disney is so popular? I do agree on the part where you say she doesn't necesserily need a guy in her life, but everybody loves romance. And I do think that Ricky could be a good man for Amy. I know he's not even nearly there yet but I think he can be.
And Grace is kind of stupid, blaming herself for her father's death but I don't think she's thinking straight. I feel like I'm totally defending "The secret life" which wasn't really my intension, but whatever.

Wow ppl way to comment on the subject of this blog. I'm not sure how he'll react when he finds out. If he were smart he would most likely bow out gracefully....after all who knows what kind of diseases this woman has. I think she really likes him if she lied about her job.....thats just me. But then again, she could just like him for his money..... I am looking forward to the secret coming out and his reaction. I am not making any assumptions right now cuz thats just no fun.
