poll results: happy 2009? too soon to tell

Color us surprised that most of you are reserving your opinion about the newish year.

Last week, we asked how 2009 is shaping up for you. A good 45% of you said it's too soon to tell. Hmmmm. Does this mean that, so far, 2009 has been pretty uneventful, or are you just holding off on that judgment?

We feel for the 16% of you who said it's the worst year EVER. Yipes! Looks like you and Sophie have a lot in common -- except for the conniving boyfriend and BFF. (We hope!) All we can say is, the year's still young. We KNOW you can turn things around.

OK, let's hightail it out of Bummerville, shall we?

An almost equal number of you (17%) said that 2009 is shaping up to be the BEST year yet. Woooooooo-hoooooooooo! That's the spirit.

Last, but not least -- actually, this option came in second -- 21% of you said 2009 feels kind of 2008-ish. Guess it's deja vu all over again. Time to do something fabulous to make 2009 stand out!
