10/19 - Hocus Pocus

My oldest daughter was TERRIFIED by "Hocus Pocus" when she was little. We had rented it at her request, but she was so upset while watching it, we turned off the TV and returned the movie. Now, she goes to see every slasher movie that comes to the theaters. Who knew?

*whispers: I think it was the "witches eating children" concept that scared her. I felt the same way about the movie "Warlock."*

This was one of my favorites when I was little; I still love to watch it whenever it's on tv. Never scared me though, but I watched everything when I was young- I remember being 5 or 6 and watching Child's Play and the Nightmare On Elm Street movies, so Hocus Pocus was nothing.

i watched that movie with my cousins little kids and they were scared too.... now they watch the scifi channel and abc family during halloween.... who knew that would happen
