I Miss the Old Shows!
Posted Sun, 12/07/2008 - 10:34 — mybfsasailorI'm 19 years old and I am a long time viewer of the 25 days of christmas! I've been watching the shows for years with my younger siblings. My best friends all enjoy the shows and I even get my guy friends into them. It doesn't matter how old I get I still love the classics like "the year without a santa claus" or "santa claus is comming to town" for years ABC family has kicked off the 25 days of christmas with "santa claus is comming to town" I can still sing every song from all of the classics! When I think of christmas ABC family's 25 days of christmas comes to mind. This year is a great disappointment!!! I remember when christmas shows would be played all day long and now once ABC family is done with their regular shows they play "harry potter?" At 8 too when my younger sister is in bed. I hope that you are aware that this year you've lost many viewers both young and old due to this new line up. Your channel used to be a family tradition for my family at christmas time. Now it's nothing but another channel on tv. I better go out and buy the classics because I can't count on ABC family to play them in the future for my children.

Apparently when they asked us what we wanted to see this year was all for not! Why didn't they read the boards here and take note?
i agree with everybody else... i use to look forword to the 25 days of christmas. and u go and put harry potter and cars and the incredibles. thats a joke those are no christmas shows. what about the year with out santa caluse or sants clause is coming to town, now those are christmas shows.

I agree 100%, the 25 days of christmas was pathetic this year, and last year was only slightly better. I'm 20yrs old and the only show i watched this year was santa was coming to town. but, does anyone know of ANY tv station playing the good christmas cartoons? my all-time favorite was noel the christmas ordiment/year w/o a santa.
I agree with everyone's comments...the 25 Days of Christmas used to be actual movies about
Christmas--not Cars, The Incredibles, etc.
Nestor the Long-Eared Donkey, Jack Frost, and the Little Drummer Boy
(all Rankin-Bass classics) aren't even listed on the schedule this year!
***Countless viewers want to see ALL of the Christmas favorites that used to be
the ABC Family Tradition.
