Absent from 13 Nights?

I KNOW WHY!!! My kids were watching the Disney Channel last night and I saw the advertisements for Harry Potter.
Q: Why isn't Harry Potter included in the "13 Nights of Halloween" offerings instead of the "25 Days of Christmas" event?
A: Because the HP movies are being shown on the DISNEY CHANNEL in October, so they're not available for ABC Family, contractually.

Yes I know that they are on Disney Channel now (guilty pleasure, I know). So because they are there they can't be here? Why is that?

I've always wondered the same thing - why does Harry Potter get included in the Christmas specials?
The Christmas/winter stuff isn't even in the movie for very long; Halloween makes so much more sense given the whole series' theme, lol.
I'm going to start a "wish list" thread in the "13 nights" forum to shake up the lineup next year.
(Cold-hearted of me, considering this year's event hasn't even begun yet, lol)
