Future Plots
Posted Sat, 08/30/2008 - 20:53 — showbizgal87Hey Middlefans!
When watching the show, I always wonder "What are they going to do next?" and the writers never disappoint. But I want to send it to my fellow Middlefans out there...what kinds of ideas for shows do you have?
Personally, I'd like to see an episode where MM and Dub Dub go back in time (which we know is possible, thank you Guy Goddard) say....TO THE OLD WEST! How awesome would that be? MM slinging pistols just like the guys in the movies he loves so much.
Let's hear your thoughts!

This is a wacky thought but I would really LOOOVE to see Wendy be reversed inside the TV series " The Adams Family ". She can be Wednesday and her mom and dad can be Morticia and Gomez.
I told you it was wacky!
Some people are more specific than others when they post their thoughts about future episodes. I've mentioned in a previous post on the blog a black-and-white, film noir, hardboiled detective episode. I had also previously mentioned another idea, but got really excited when I saw Ida tooling around The Middleman HQ in roller skates, that would combine elements of Xanadu, Roller Derby, and Fight Club. Oh, and maybe that issue of Neil Gaiman's Sandman where the Greek Muse Calliope was being held captive.
Writers also tend to fall back on the classics, so I wouldn't put it past them to do their variation on A Christmas Carol, with that special Middleman touch (exactly how much special touching is involved, asks Wendy), complete with Ghosts of Middleman Past, Present, and Future.
Some people dream in black-and-white,
And others dream in color.
But when I see you in my sleep,
My dreams are sweet-and-sour.
I would also like to see WW and MM in the old west to have MM slinging iron, but here is where my plot would differ.
MM, enjoys living life in the old west so much that when the chance arises to return to the present time WW is all set to go back but MM is severely torn, this is the life he always wanted to live but he also realizes that his time needs a Middle-man.
Alternatively, you can make all of the Joss Whedon Firefly fans ecstatic and/or cranky by having it be The New West, what with all of the spaceships flitting about in the sky. Plus, Wendy can go through some more of her Han Solo routine.
Some people dream in black-and-white,
And others dream in color.
But when I see you in my sleep,
My dreams are sweet-and-sour.
