The first soap was made from the ashes of heroes. How can you not be a fan?

You're not your job. You're not how much money you have in the bank. You're not the car you drive. You're not the contents of your wallet. You're not your ***** khakis. You're the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world.
Working on it. It's just expensive, and I have a certain expectation of quality. I could film in video, but I hate the look. I'm trying to get a camera that shoots at 24 frames to replicate that "Film Look". As of yet, all I have are some scripts in progress. I am also an actor. I've been in some independent short films so far as well as an uncredited extra on the first season finale of Rescue Me as well as Rocky Balboa. If MM gets a second season, I'll try to get some audition info and maybe land a role. It's always best to try to get work in projects you believe in.

No more monologuing, or I'll Swiss-cheese you on principle.
Just finished another Zombie short recently in fact. This time I played a gang leader after a zombie apocalypse. I was a zombie as well, but only in the background so as not to disrupt the continuity. The director should be finished with post production soon.

no, they are all indie. but maybe one day, Ill catch a break. Acting is all about rejection. You get a thousand no's before someone give you a yes. Then it's all what you make of your big break.

Extremely. First you must have the necessary talent. There are so many people out there who believe they can write a great script. Just because you may have a great and imaginative idea, doesn't mean you can translate it into a script. Sometimes it's best to find someone who knows how to put together a story from your own ideas and make it a collaborative effort.
Then there are those who can make the best and most interesting stories and put it together in the right format for a successful product. Sadly, a lot of these never end up being seen. This is simply because of the sheer quantity of stories out there. So many get sent to producers who never even look at it and simply file it away. A lot of it depends on luck and/or who you know. As an example, it took Javi 11 years to get someone to give the green light for the Middleman TV Show. And even that was only because he took the unorthodox approach of making his pilot script into a comic book. With the success of Middleman on the indie comic scene, someone finally took notice and figured it'd be a good idea to put his vision on the screen.
Finally, Timing can also be an issue. You may have a story that is too original for the viewing public at this time. But maybe ten years down the line, the public will crave something new, and your story just so happens to be a perfect fit.
Of course, you could always take your idea and make it yourself. This requires you to either fund it your self or find investors who share your hopes for the project. This, of course gives your the most creative control over your baby, but could also result in the most headaches. There are just so many factors that go into breaking into the writing business.
I hope this answers your question.
