All of the shows currently airing on ABC family caused me to come check on next season of The Middleman. And one thing came to mind, "seriously how does this show get canceled".

The current line up of stereotypical, PREDICABLE, filth found on secret life and Greek is a joke. To anyone who actually believes these 23-25 year old actors playing high school students, or the 30 year olds playing college students, life does not work the way it's portrayed on these shows. If I hung around any people who acted like the characters on these shows I would recommend therapy. Add in the fact that if you pay attention at all you can easily guess what is going to happen next, leaving little reason to watch 90% of the ABC family line up, unless you plan to make an evening of making fun of how unrealistic and stupid it is.

The Middleman on the other hand had an intelligent fun factor that kept you guessing. The biggest plus seems to be that I didn't have to worry about ABC family trying to jam some 20 year old girl trying to play a teen down my throat.
