Baby Jada is here!

Big smile just wondering how many mom's are on-line here. I see so many cute baby pictures.I have a daughter almost 2 this month named Joselyn. My second baby girl was born this past Tuesday on October 27 weighing 9 pounds and 12 oz. I was induced at 8a.m and she was born at 10:36a.m. Let me tell you the pain motivated me to get her out!! ha ha My first I didn't feel it when I pushed, this one I definatly did!! Now I have another beautiful baby girl. So tell how many out there have babies and can't get over how adorable and sweet they are?!! Angel

Congrats! I've never talked to you or anything (normally, when the show is on, I come on a lot but now there's all these new people who I don't know because I never get the chance to come on!) but just from reading some of the post you seem very sweet and you seem like a great mother! Hopefully I'll get to talk to you soon if I ever get time to get on with homework, and if you're not busy with your baby. LOL Still good luck! Big smile

yeah I get on and off. might get off for a few days or a week and then go back on later. If I get bored or people get on my nerves or no one talks to me, I tend to wait a while before I return. I changed my user name once already. I'd apprieacate just talking to people. i get bored sometimes or just tried of the same old thing, just like anyone else. Anyway look forward to talking to you!

ah so sweet!! Josi did not sleep through the night at six months, it was an on and off thing. kind of annoying! ha ha anyway i love it when they are little but you can just see them learning things!! you have a beautiful sweet daughter! Jada's been constipated, A problem I never had with Joselyn. I feel bad for her, it sounds like a baby having a baby. Poor child... anyway she'll get better soon. Are you enjoying your little one?

GraceLynn's picture

Congratulations! How exciting! I am 21 and a mother of a baby girl named Jillian. She is a little over 5 months. And I love your daughters' names!

serria's picture

aw she's a cutie! Josi was so cute when she was five months and fun. Now I get to go through it again! I'm 28 myself, I didn't get pregant with my first until I was 25. Guess I'm a little later than others! Jillian is a really pretty name too. I have a friend who has a new baby girl with that name. It's a little funny that they both ended up with names with the letter J, however you never know what when come your way when decide to have children. Even if it wasn't planned, it's still a choose and decisions get made sometimes as you go!! Big smile

GraceLynn's picture

Thank you. I don't think you are later than others, it's best to wait. I am not married, but I m engaged. Really? I didn't think Jillian was super popular. But I love it. We were actually thinking about doing J names for girls, and G names for boys because it is the opposite of Jeff and GraceLynn, if you can follow that.

serria's picture

yeah I don't think that Jillian is a very popular name either, don't worry! It's just that my friends basically has all her kids with J names too! I am separated myself but not legally separated. oh wow that's creative to do! well gotta change a dirty diaper for my two year old who needs to potty train already!!

Congrats. I am going to have a baby around the house soon again. The youngest in my house is my brother Nathan he is 5.

Babies are sweet but have to be fed often.... Your baby or a family member?

Elli_Maelynn's picture

Family member.

Elli:)

Kenny- I love you baby:)

serria's picture

well you get to have the experience of having a baby around before you ever decide to have kids. That's always good.

Yeah. It will be fun:)

Elli:)

Kenny- I love you baby:)

serria's picture

ahh congrats! how far are you? Hope your pregancy is going well. this second one was harder than the first for me. not to mention my baby was 9pounds 12oz and my back and legs still hurt.... so what's having a five year old like? do they still throw fits at five? Josi does but lately she's a little preoccupied with Jada. she can be horrible at times thinking everything is a game. But she tries to help too.

xTSN2008x's picture

About 8 weeks, so still very early. It's great this time around. My first pregnancy, not that it was difficult, but I was sick. Oh wow! Nate was 3 pounds less than that, and I was sore for a little while after (I thinkg we all are, lol), so I can just imagine how you feel. How're your girls doing today? Having a 5 year old is so much fun. Although I miss him being little, I love to see how his mind is starting to really work and develop. Nate is starting to really get his own tiny personality, and I absolutely love watching him grow and change. I know we have a long road in front of us, but it's amazing to see how different he is compared to just last year. He definitely has his moments, but he's never really been one to throw a fit. He's a pretty calm little dude. I hope Josi enjoys being a big sister!

serria's picture

well that's great that your not getting sick. I never really threw up a lot with either pregancy, however I was naseous a lot! Yeah at eight weeks I was just nervous and it feels weird to know your pregant but no one can see it! That's great that your son has been so clam. I think that personality can have a lot to do with how a child handles things, not to mention that way we raise them.
My Josi is really high strung, load, and emotional. Her daddie is also load. I am the sensitive one. Josi is really socail and sweet when she wants to be.
My girls are good. Josi watches cartoons while I'm tending to Jada. Occasionally she comes and bugs me or climbs in Jada's bed. i'm having a hard time with Jada at night becasue she seems to want to eat within fewer hours at night. I think I got her a little spoiled holding her, but babies just wanna be close.
I am thankful that Josi doesn't get all spasmtic when I trying to nurse or pump for Jada. i try to at least once a day.
Josi can be very loving but she has to learn to be gentle! Her daddie has been keeping her with him once in a while so i'll get a break. Jada can't leave the house until after this Tuesday.
So how do you tell your son about the baby coming?

xTSN2008x's picture

For a while, it seemed like there wasn't a time when I didn't have an upset stomach when I was pregnant with Nate. I was sick a lot.
It is a strange feeling. Not as strange as it was when I was 16, but strange all the same. It's just ubelieveable.
Nate's been a little blessing. Josi sounds like a little sweetheart, too. She sounds like she wants to be a big help to mommy, but isn't quite sure how. She'll figure it out one day Smiling Aw, I'm sure Jada will be all right at night soon. Babies do want to be close, I can definitely agree with that!
Tom and I haven't told Nate yet. We planned on doing it one night, but we had other things to talk to him about. Then he got pretty sick, and we just haven't brought it up. Now we're thinking we'll tell him after the ultra sound, so we can show him the little picture, too. We aren't completely positive on what we're going to say to him, though. We had it all figured out, but now our plans are changing Big smile He'll know within the next two weeks.

well josi has been staying with her daddie on and off so that helps. She can be a handful at times. I tried telling her about sissy when I was pregant and I think that she literally thought my stomach was sissy. She even thought that other people's stomach's (like Nana) was the baby!! ha ha She just calls Jada baby and i'm still working on sissy and her name is Jada.
It might be a good thing to wait until ultrasound to tell your son so he'll understand better. I even had Josi brought in to hear the heartbeat. But she's so young that I don't think she understand. Your son will most likely understand better that she did. Good luck with it all.
I also come to find out that we've always heard sprite and crackers help with naseaous, however carbonated water is not good althought sprite can help. Gartorade is better! I was surprized it helped me. It was on my list of medications I could take. Maybe it will help you. I always had something I was dealing with when it came to my last pregancy.
Well looking forward to being able to take Jada out, however I know it will be more diffucult with two children!! Wink

xTSN2008x's picture

I'm glad you're getting a few breaks here and there. I can imagine how much it helps. Haha, that sounds funny. Nate was a bit like that when Julie, my sister-in-law, was pregnant with Meghan. He thought belly=baby.
Thanks so much for the help! Tom and I decided we're most likely going to do that, unless something happens before then. We talked about bringing him to an ultrasound, and we most likely will at one point.
Thanks for the tips Smiling I had Gatorade almost every day during lunch when I when was pregnant with Nate. I don't really love drinking soda, though.
Aww, it probably will be a little bit more difficult, but I'm sure you'll be able to handle it! Good luck and have fun when you do!

yeah i'm not much for soda myslef except the occasional float. i like cherry vanilla Dr Pepper. But I never finish a can. It's gonna be fun when Nate finds out he's having a baby sister of brother. Josi seems to think that it's her duty to take care of Jada. it's a learning process really stressing at times...
I don't wan to hurt Josi's feeling but don't want her to hurt Jada either. There's a balance. It's hard because I can't show Josi the same attension I did before. the only time she gets mad through is when i don't let her hold Jada... I try my best to show the both love. However I guess hormones are just getting to me...
Are you feeling ok today? hope that Nate doesn't try and crawl all over you, like Josi did when I was pregant. However she's three years younger than him. Sigh little ones...sweet but of course so needy! sometimes you love it others you need a break!

xTSN2008x's picture

I can't wait to tell him and see his reaction. I'm afraid that he's might get a twinge of jealousy, though, considering the fact that he's been my center of attention since I was 16. Aww, I bet Josi is adorable. She might be a handful at times, but you probably can't picture life without her.
I understand. Josi will, too, eventually. At least she wants to help, and isn't jealous of baby Jada at all. I'm sure you're doing a great job with your girls. Smiling
I'm feeling great, concerning the pregnancy. I'm just a little stressed about a few other things. Nate will keep me busy, that's for sure!

yeah they will all get jealous at some point. Even though Josi doesn't seem jealous or shown any aggresion, I can't take the chance of leaving her alone with Jada. But we always can just hope and pray that it won't be too bad. The thing I notice is Josi always has to be right there when I'm caring for Jada. and sometimes she thinks she has to be in my lap too at the same time!! The hardest thing is making Josi go away so i can consentrate on Jada with her crawling on me or Jada. Josi just isn't very careful at all....
I'm glad that your feeling good, keeping bust can actually help your body at times... I was so lazy with Josi but with Jada I have Joselyn to care for so it actually helped some. Other days I'd get frustrated and sooo tried. I hope that your pregancy contiues to go well... and that you could get Nate involved more as I'm sure to some extent he'll understand.

Awww congrats!
I'm a mommy. My daughter Gianna was born in March, and will be 3 months old on Friday.

And labor does suck horribly. But it's all worth it once you see your baby for the first time.

thanks! they are so sweet when their little like that! I loved Josi when she was about 5 months.so small and still learning to grab things and roll over and all smiles! The little nosies they make are sooo cute! I don't do baby talk, I think it's weird, but i'm always looking at Jada and touching her.

It is really cute. I love just watching Gianna play and learn new things.

i used to think that Josi was still small still before Jada was born, now she seems huge!! ha ha It's so hard not to hurt when you have to dicipline them though. Josi I mean. i guess you have that to look forward too.... Wink

samluvzmax's picture

I've already had to discipline Gianna quite a lot. Especially now that she's crawling and moving around. And she will eat anything. And anything meaning anything. Pillows, toys, books, blankets, and her favorite, newspaper.
It really is hard not to hurt though.

ha ha sounds like a little goat...Josi sticks everything in her mouth too.. i fuss at her all the time about sticking her clothes and my blankets in her mouth. She can be so definate at times! I've always heard that we hurt but can't allow the child to see it when we dicipline them.

samluvzmax's picture

Did i put 3? That's a huge typo. I meant 8.
How did I even manage to get 3 and 8 mixed up? They are nowhere near each other. Oh well...at least I got the March part right. Although I put February at first, but corrected myself. Just shows how timed I am.

Yesterday, I was so out of it, it's not even funny. I must have had maybe 10 hours of sleep all of last week. Thank goodness I didn't have school today. I probably would have just passed out in the middle of class. Election day is my new favorite holiday. Sticking out tongue

wow! but somehow we keep going... i almost feel drugged sometimes i'm sooo tried, but am lucky I get help at times so i can sleep. i'm gonna have to find a job soon through.

samluvzmax's picture

Gianna was sick last week, so I was not getting sleep at all. But she is better this week, and I am getting more sleep.
I feel the same way sometimes. I am also very lucky for all of the help that I have.
Sometimes I feel like I just have so much to do that I feel like collapsing, but then I think and realize how lucky I am to have so much help, and remember that my situation could be a lot worse.

aww I'm sorry she was sick!! that is scary when they are so young. their immune systems are weaker than ours so they don't heal as quickly. i'm sure you knew that... anyway I was really scard when Josi had colic at two months she cried so hard and wouldn't stop!! I had took her to emergency room. Found out about Mylicon which is wonderful for gas releif. Josi got over it in about a few days. Jada is a real gasy baby too.
my situation is pretty stressing. Been separated from my husband since last Christmas. Now he's confusing me saying he still has feelings for me, but he's not ready to be the man I need him to be. He is trying to get his life together however he has "another" girlfriend. this one living with him. ugh I am a very forgiving preson however my top prority is our girls. So yeah things could always be worse... there is always someone who has more or different problems. We choose to get through them and pray for the best!!
I am glad to have a roof over my head and food. I just gotta find a job soon. It's hard i don't have much experience and haven't worked in a few years and now everyone is baggering me to get a career. Brain overload you know?
Anyway hope Gianna continues to get well! I hate my little one's being sick!!

samluvzmax's picture

I feel the same way. I just felt like there was no way I could have helped her. Unfortunately, she gave me what she had, and I am now sick.

My situation can be extremely stressful at times too. I am 17 now. I was raped when I was 16. I got pregnant from being raped. My boyfriend, who I have been with for almost five years has stepped up, and is raising Gianna as her father. He is truly amazing. Him and his family have been such a huge help to me.
But now, I am in high school, work after school five days a week, and am raising a baby at 17. It can be extremely hard at times. But I am thankful for all of the help and support I have.

And thanks.

wow! I couldn't imagine having to deal with that, but i think that you made the right decision for yourself to keep the baby. Some of those children end up being the strongest not to mention you become stronger yourself. I am sorry that you had to go through that.... I had my encounters and was almost raped but someone else came in and scarded him off. I was fortunate, but am very aware of things like that esspically when i had some dirty old man try and grab my body and offer me money to sleep with him. I had been cleaning his house and left in hurry. there are some sick people in this world, you gotta be careful. Again I am so sorry...but i highly believe that God can turn what the devil meant for bad into good.
i am impressed at how you are standing up and working and going to school! what kind of job do you have? You are blessed to have such a loving boyfriend! Big smile
