boy trouble, please help.
Posted Wed, 12/03/2008 - 11:03 — jmhh12Alright, well I'm a freshman in high school, and i need your help. This Junior, named chris, i like alot. He tried to rape me yesterday. It was the end of the day, and he took off his pants. ( we were upstairs on top of the stairs and no one could see us.) He tried to take off my leggings, and i tried to pull him away, but he was too strong. His thing touched mine, but it didn't go in..and I deffinately didn't want it to. I know I wasn't ready for all the responsibilites. I told 3 of my best friends, and now it's all around school. I can't deny it, because I'm not the type of person who lies. But I don't want everyone to know. Also, I seem to be more angry with myself than him, and I have been so upset since then. I don't know what to do, I'm so scared..and I don't want to tell my mom because she'll be so mad at me, and things will never be the same.
If you have any advice at all, please feel free to help. I could use all the help I get. Thank you so much.

I know you don't want to tell your mom but if she found out from someone else she would be angry and dissapointed that you didn't trust her. i think that you should let your mom know. it was good that you said no.

tell your mom because she won't be mad at you because you didnt do anything wrong. i am a freshman to and i know that you should tell someone it would help a lot because he could try to do it again.
Aww hun I'm sorry. If you tell your mom shes not going to be mad at you. You did the right thing to not have sex and to not be forced into. Not many girls are strong like that. First off I would tell your mom and then you guys should go to the police. It is considered almost a rape. He went near you, it was forced and you could charge him for that. Did he hurt you in anyway? Was anybody home when this happened? You should have screamed super loud and yelled for help. Don't let this get to you, I know its hard but just try to move in for the mean while, but talk to you mom!
Definitely go to the police, it's sexual assault and attempted rape. Turn him in before he gets the chance to do it to somebody else, or go further and actually rape somebody.

Cept I wouldn't want one of my teachers to see it (except they WOULD because we got hidden cameras all over our hallways). Cept you're like 14 or 15...I'm 13. What do I know? Anyways, sorry it happened to you

Well you should have screamed at the top of your lungs. Just because people can't see you doesn't mean they can't hear you. But i guess it's too late for this.Anyay what you should do now is talk to your parents and maybe a school counsleor or something and if there was an actual assault(you never did say just how you managed to stop him)you should go to the police and file charges. In fact go the police anyway and explain in exact detail what happened
And in the future always try to carry mace,avoid secluded places,try to travel in more mixed company and maybe even take a few self defense classes(and of course if you have any male friends make sure they know what hapened so they can give him a good beating)
By the way what is a freshman supoused to be?

Personally I've been in your position. I've been raped by an ex and everyone blamed me for the whole thing but only because he made it to where it was my fault. When I told the story, people felt bad for me and now everyone has cut him off as a person and now no one talks to him. But honestly tell your mom and if she blames you, she's doing some bad parenting because none of it was your fault. When you tried to resist that was pretty much a rejection for him and if he still tried to go further, he was wrong not you.
Personally I would get someone to bust a cap in his a$$. You could go to the cops but nothing is better revenge than busting a cap in someone's a$$.
