Fingers Crossed For My Little Girl :(
Posted Thu, 11/05/2009 - 09:33 — maria_max_and_e...As some of you already know Elle hasnt been too well for the past few days and her daddy took her to the doctor on monday. So on monday the doctor said it was a bacterial infection and put her on antibiotics but we were up with her all night last night and she has been getting worse. She cant eat anything without puking it all back up, she is sleepy at the time, the has a very upset tummy and we think she is getting headaches and stomach cramps 
She we are really worried about her, I called the doctor this morning and we have been told to go to the hospital with her in the morning if she is still worse tonight 
. So as I said we are both really worried about our little princess, so please keep for fingers crossed that she gets better soon...
Good news... we got Ellies test results today and she doesnt have meningitis - I ws so worried about that because Oli has had it. She isnt well yet but she was alot better today already

So was I!! Poor Oli has been getting home, helping me ot with Elle and Max and then when they were in bed I would jus sit and cry o him, I was so worried!! I thought she had meningitis!!

She wasnt kept in, they were just doing tests - she is at home thank god...

She has very severe gastroenteritis - but she has had blood tests as there is still a chance that it is meningitis, but they dont think it is. She also has an ear infection...
She is on medication, but if she gets any worse she will have to be put on a drip

I had that for just a day. It was not fun, I can't imagine how bad it is for a baby.

Aw, Maria, I'm so sorry. It's awful when they're sick and so little. You feel like you should be able to help them, but you can't and that just makes you feel terrible. I'm sure you and Oliver are doing all you can, though, for your little princess. Thankfully, Nate's almost 100% better; I'll put Elle in my prayers so you can say the same soon.
