Posted Thu, 11/05/2009 - 16:47 — samluvzmaxAnyone else as happy as I am that the Yankees won? It was like Yankeemania today at school. Everyone was wearing Yankees shirts and hats.
Now I have to let Max paint the Yankees logo on the ceiling of our bedroom. I promised him that if they won, he could.
Now to convince my dad to let me go to the parade tomorrow....
Congrats Sam! I love watching football, I get so into it! Haha I'm a big fan of the Cowboys (:

Congrats Sam. I am more of a football fan, (nothing against baseball, but I just know no baseball fans, or I would watch those games with them.) But, I know the fun of having your team win. Congrats again.

I could probalby get into baseball, if I had some buds here to watch it with. That and I do not know the rules. I suppose I should though; it is the "All American Game." Also, I think it is less dangerous than football.

The rules really aren't that complicated, and are pretty easy to learn. It is a lot less dangerous than football.

Sorry to interrupt,but...I am starting to not like sports very much anymore,because the Seattle Mariners haven't been to the playoffs for 8 years now...I am more of a Hockey fan...GO THUNDERBIRDS,AND REDWINGS!
I heard the Mariners might sign Matsui if the Yanks don't keep him. Maybe he will help them out. After all, he was the MVP.
But in my opinion, just because your team is doing bad, doesn't mean you should stop liking the sport.

How is Tom taking the fact that they lost?
Half of me wants it, but half of me feels like it is the most moronic idea in the world. He wants to do it in glow in the dark paint to so it's definitely going to be interesting. Maybe I'll take Unit's idea, and make it really small.

I know what it feels like to have your team loose. But hey, the Phills had all of the victory last year. They gotta give someone else a shot.
lol. It's definitely different. We haven't had a chance to do it yet, because I have been sent to my dads house for a week. Gianna got me sick, and I am no longer allowed to be near the rest of my family. But Max may have done it without me, and if he has, I will most likely murder him.
Thanks. I will probably like it for like a month, but then once I get past all of the hype from the victory, I'll probably be like why the hell did I let him do this.

Thanks. It really is no fun. I just feel like sitting in bed all day, which is what I have been doing since Saturday. Yep, breaks are always good. I miss everyone though. I feel very isolated.

Last night my mom made me wear a Yankees jersey for "good luck".
I guess it worked because they won. Lol

That's cool. I went to a few games this season, and one of the Twins Yankees playoff games, but I didn't go to any of the World Series games. The tickets were just too expensive for us.

yeah the tickets were really expensive, luckly my mom was able to get them through work. i was upset that i din't get to go, but i wasn't as big of a fan. But i really do love going to the yankees games.

A couple of my friend's parents were able to get tickets through work.
My uncle, who lives in Philly got tickets to game 4 and 5 in luxury suites through work. I was so jealous of him.

I actually wasn't going to make it, because I was like you know what, there are like no other Yankees fans on here, and nobody really cares, but then I was like what the heck I'm gonna make it anyway.
My History teacher is a huge Yankees fan, and my Biology teacher hates the Yankees, and they are like best friends. So today my History teacher had a bunch of stuff about the Yanks written on her Smart Board, and my Bio teacher came in and screwed everything up, and completely changed everything.

I feel the same way. When I zone out in class, I usually think about people on here. I'd rather do that than pay attention in a boring class. If I told someone outside the boards about that, they'd think I was crazy. Once I told my mom you guys were like a family and she looked at me weird.

It really doesn't feel like she is 8 months old. I still feel like it was just yesterday I was making the thread on here telling everyone that Gianna was born...back when she was 5 or 6 days old. Time flies way too fast.
