Test One 8/2 about 8:30AM - PREGNANT, PREGNANT, PREGNANT!!!!

**********************************************************

First Appointment 8/4 - Everything went perfect. I was estimated at 4 weeks and once back from Florida we'll have our first ultra sound
Appointment 9/25 - Ultra sound went perfect, I measured 11 weeks
Appointment 10/21 - My appointment was bumped up. My new doctor and midwife are amazing!! My second ultra sound lasted about an hour and everything went perfect! Baby Jazz is so big! So big in fact the doctor is contimplating bumping my due date to April 1, 2010 We shall see.
Appointment 11/18 - My third ultra sound...THE BIG ONE! Boy or Girl?

Well, I've had two ultra sond techs, one RN and one midwife call boy lol. All of them pointed out the same reason why. But, I'm still holding out for the 18th. But, when I look at how my body is changing...I'm thinking boy.

Hi,Mrs.Jazz! How are you? My back hurts really bad...I took some medicine,so it feels abit better....I am going to the bank with my mom today so that i can cash my paycheck(2nd ever paycheck),and spend part of it...I still have some money from my first paycheck...The rest will go into my money envelope down stairs...I bet you cannot wait to find out if you're having a boy or a girl....I am glad that I don't work today..I have a very naggy boss,she's hard to get along with,i do not like her at all,but I still have to treat her with respect....UGH!

Thanks so much! We can't wait. We go in 18 day to find out if we're having a boy or girl, either way Dallas is the first name (after a close friend who had his life taken by a drunk driver) and then gender appropriate middle names. Daddys military and currently TDY so hoping he gets home soon.

It's growing like crazy. I just got it cut a month and half ago and it's so much longer now. It's everywhere. I'm just going to let it grow out and try new things with it. I'm sure as it grows longer it'll get easier to fix up. Glad to hear you got it. It was difficult to try to take one myself but I think that's when it sank in for me. Kind of like...when did all that get there?

hey Trista! i have't talked to you ina while. how have you been feeling? the baby looks good.
i have some fun facts about your baby's deveoplment right now that i want to share:
20 days: Foundations of brain, spinal cord and nervous system are laid.
24 days: Heart begins to beat.
30 days: Child has grown 10,000 times to 6-7 mm (1/4") long. Brain has human
proportions. Blood flows in veins (but stays separate from mother's blood).
35 days: Pituitary gland in brain is forming. Mouth, ears and nose are taking shape.
42 days: Skeleton is formed. Brain coordinates movement of muscles and organs.
Reflex responses have begun. [filtered word] is forming in boys. (Mother misses second period.)
43 days: Brain waves can be recorded.
8 1/2 weeks: Fingerprints are being engraved. Eyelids and palms of hands are sensitive
to touch.
9 weeks: Child will bend fingers around an object placed in the palm. Thumb sucking
occurs. Fingernails are now forming.
10 weeks: Body is sensitive to touch. Child squints, swallows, puckers up brow and
frowns.
11 weeks: Baby urinates, makes complex facial expressions - even smiles.

i hope that he will ba back shortly and will be able to make the appointment. and yes only 20 days and about 2 hours. well at least its 2 hours where i live till midnight. so how have you been feeling? has the morning sickness gotten better?
yes. i love fun facts to about babies during pregnancy. And it's interesting stuff to learn. one of my favorite things that i learned was that a babies heart starts beating 24 days after conception.

Morning sickness is only triggered now by certain smells, mostly frying oils. Yick. I still can't beliieve we're so close to the big ultra sound. The tech wanted to call the gender so bad that day but with Adam not there I wanted to wait. This appt he stands a much better chance at being with me. I want him to see that with me.
