I am so mad. the whole story kind of long.updated

There this guy whom I really like. He is my cousin{Adam]'s best friend his name is also Adam.
I kind of think he likes me too. So I went to the mall with my friend and I saw him there. He waved
so, I went there to say hi. He was standing with a woman about 38 years old. Anyway when I went over there, After he said Hi and he interduce me the woman. He was like "Ayan this is my mom. and MOm this is Ayan.
She is a friend whom I go to school with". Then He looked at me and said I am helping my mom with her store today.So I said Hi to the woman, and she gave a dirty look. I was like the heck, but I didn't say anything.
After an awkward moment Adam was like "I am almost finished here do you want a ride"? though I had a ride i said yes, cause i wanted to go with him. But before I answered him mom was like "No. I have a job for you"
THen he looked embarrassed and "mom I can do it later" Then the mom looked at me and said "sorry honey my
son is busy. He wanted to say something but before he said anything. I got out of there as soon as I could.
I was so mad and embarrassed at the same time. He called my name after me, But I ran out of there.
Now I am not texting back. cause I am really mad.
New: He apologized and said he is the only one his mom had. I forgive but I am still mad at her.
Oh and we are going to see a movie on Friday

I am actually excited to see a movie tonight, except I don't know which one to see.
I guess I will pick the one that seems to be alright.lol

She sounds like a sour face and it is not his fault. However it is hard because you will still have to deal with his family.
One thing people forget is that (for those old enough to get married that is) one "marries" the family. I know you are young and not getting married, but you would be stuck dealing with that sour faced woman.

That is why I was kind of mad. I mean what it is gets serious, then I would have to meet his parents[his an only child] And she would still be mean. I really don't know what to do.

See, that's the problem. He's an only child. Parents with one child, mothers especially, can get crazy-overprotective sometimes. My mom was a nutcase; not about dating, but general safety. I wasn't allowed to do anything without adult supervision until I was over 16, and that was only because I was driving and could get away. Even then I had to call and check in all the time.
His mom just has to get to know you a little bit and see that you're not trying to steal her son away.

I am not trying to steal him away from her, she knows that. But she doesn't have to baby him. He is 16 years old. I think she should realize that her baby is all grown up. And needs his privacy. But yes you are right.
