i dont mean to sound rude but.....
Posted Thu, 07/02/2009 - 17:52 — amyandricky4eve...okay so i have lots to talk about and it all may sound random but i decided to put it all in one instead of like a million other ones sooo....
so in my group of friends i'm the only one who doesnt like david. to me (i might be the guy playing him but) he just seems akward and outta place and anne and his relationship seems to be rushed doesnt it? i mean they meet one day have sex another and a month later he wants to marry her? i dont know seems a little fishy to me. and in the promo where anne says "i dont know, maybe the love of my life is still out there" im guessing that they break up.... anyone with me?
anyone know how george broke his arm? to me seems a little werid oh well lol
so i have a guess on why adrian slaps ricky. maybe her and ben (since he was there too) were explaining to ricky how grace, tom, and jack think she has something to do with grace's dad's death and ricky agrees with jack and thats why she slaps him....but just a wild guess.
amy and grace are getting on my nerves. amys mood swing are the most annoying and if i was ricky i'd be soooo confused because one time shes all nice and sweet and batting her eyelashes and the next shes yelling at him for trying to take john to daycare wtf???!! and i know i may sound harsh and insensitive but grace is bugging me. yes i know that her dad died but she needs to get over the fact that she didnt kill him. im just hoping that they find out when the plane crashed and see that it was like hours before she had sex. that would be cool cuz shes yelling at everyone and im just hoping (i doubt the writers will do this) that they dont have jack commit suicide because of wat grace is saying to him.
anyway thats my thought on things, tell me what you guys think and if you totally disagree thats fine 
just dont like attack me lol or dont attack each other, oh and what do you guys think about betty and her 'dog'

Amy doesn't really get on my nerves cuz i no she is a new mom and it is hard. i do think that she should be nicer to ricky cuz it is kid and he is just trying to be nice. but i completley agree with how rude she is to ben cuz he doesn't have the right to tell amy he is babysitting it is her choice. with grace i am pretty annoyed. it's not her fault he dad died and she just needs to realize that. she is being really selfish and she just needs to realize it isn't all about her. it is also about her brother and mom. she should also just let people help her.

I'm thinking George gets hurt some how when he's in his motorcycle. and random thought, but I think they should have Ashley get a puppy because no one on the show has a pet and I think it's kind of weird, you know?
I'm not sure why Adrian slaps Ricky, but I'm thinking she's the one that slaps Ben. she's on a roll! haha.
Amy's bugging me, but not as much as Grace. I know it's hard, but she's being a selfish brat, being all dramatic especially when Tom and Kathleen need her.

her having STDs(especially the ones with cures like syphilis) wouldn't be a deal breaker. Its how she handled it. If she was up front and honest about her having an STD, and of course I already had such feelings for her, then sure I would definitely consider it.
If she tried to hide the STD past, especially if she has an incureable one such as Herpies, then it would most certainly be a deal breaker.
But getting and STD/HIV can happen to anyone who doesn't use proper protection.

Also because some diseases are so easily contractable, 1 infected person could infect the whole group.

I think that things will work out between Ricky and Amy, don't worry. She is a new mom and is going crazy trying to make her childs life perfect, and needing the help from the father, who you don't have the best relationship with, and thinking he is the better parent, is frightening. Amy is trying to prove this to herself that she can raise John, and its hard needing to lean on Ricky. Do not worry, I have no doubts Ricky will be there and do a good job as a dad. They will make it work, they really will. They both need to do this, they already have proved they love John immensely. If either one was ready to walk out, they would have quit and thrown in the towel a long time ago.
As for David, he will not be capable of being a parent. He just does not have it in him. Some people just can't be parents. Thats just how it is. He is incapable. George will step up and raise the child, if its not his already.
Adrian slaps Ricky because he will either have stepped in for Amy and an argument this time, or he decided that Adrian was easy like Jack did. he doesn't blame Adrian, but he makes her re-think this whole lifestyle for a minute there.
Betty is a gold-digging skank. She conned Leo and he is blinded by her "beauty" or lack of in my opinion. They will either last because he accepts her secret and lives with it. or they fall apart right away. It is wrong that he doesn't care about Ben's feelings though.
Ben and the Adrian hug. Well, Ben is a nice guy and Amy doesn't trust him. they will get through this, but they will break up this season. Ben's a good guy at heart, just going through a tough stage. They will become friends i think.

You know, the entire Leo/Betty situation I really believe that Leo has been so long without proper affection from a woman that he is settling for the first woman who has shown any amount of interest in him. Remember when he was talking to Ben and he said, "it has been a long time." I think he wants a woman in his life and a mother figure for Ben so badly he's just willing to "settle" for whoever shows interest first.

You know I really think David will run from this pregnancy. And, I think it will be George who will step up and care for the child. I truly believe he is still in love with Anne. That's such a good question, lol. I had to google and WebMD it, lol. LvrFaceee did as well. A half line the way most sites describe is, the pregnancy hormone is so faint in my urine that it's not enough to make a real line show. What happens instead is the lines start then stop appearing.

You are right, she is not an adult. You are also right that someone needs to tell her about her situation. I completely agree. I am just saying that she will make the stretch to be a better parent BY leaning on Ricky. She will realize soon that they need to be a team and filled with love, not arguing all the time. Don't worry, eventually she will open up to him. This attitude might cost her the relationship she has with Ben (But when has that been a concern for us Ricky fans right? LOL) but she will ultimately step up and her and Ricky will be friends at least and on the mends, they have to.

Well I personally don't think she has Post Partum Depression. That is usually withdrawal from the baby or complete withdrawal from other people, while she is currently being bitchy, she is a new mom and will get better. Don't worry, Ricky is a fighter, always has been, he doesn't quit that easy.

It wouldn't surprise me. It certainly won't be Anne or George. To tell you the truth, they are kind of ineffective in that regard, in my opinion. I personally think Ricky, Adrian, and Ashley would be a combination of who gets it through her head.

I understand, but I think that Ricky also sees the big picture. Ricky knows that this is a phase, and she will get over it. Ricky also knows that he comes with a lot of baggage, and if he ever tried to pursue legal rights the judge would give him to Amy because most likely when someone evaluates his past, his father, his own childhood being tossed around, his financial situation, family status, and sees Amy with her parents, and her own deal going the judge would hand Amy the rights. Thats sad, but true. Also Ricky doesn't want to fight, he knows that only makes the problem escalate not get solved. Ricky sees that he wants his son to be raised there, he even said it himself, and that he wants love and peace. Ricky wants to get along, and he knows if he gives Amy hell now she won't let him live it down. She is still blaming him for the pregnancy, so him snapping does no good. He is dealing perfectly, Anne knows the deal, and she will make Ricky always welcome to help with John. Amy will come around. She does like him

Ok. Hmmm.... I'm trying to think of how to put this. I don't think I'm wording it the right way.
Ok, here we go.
Yes, Ricky does have the same rights as Amy does. I never said he did not, that is obvious, unless a crime is committed, yes 50 - 50 chance is presented for custody. What I am trying to say is this, yes, absolutely this is not Ricky's fault, and yes, it was horrid what his biological father did to him, BUT what I am saying is simply this: We do not live in a perfect world. When the judge gets information about Ricky and Amy's pasts in this custody battle, it is almost natural that the judge will be bias towards Amy. The fact is, if you know Ricky you trust him, but to an outsider he doesn't have that great of a reputation or appeal when standing next to a child who has grown up normally. Ricky has even said that himself. Is it awful that the judge may award custody to only her, yes that would be, but my point is this. You yourself just said that the judge is here to decide what is best for John as far as parental rights, and they very well could feel that because of Ricky being sexually abused, and bounced around in the foster system, John would not be best with him. Yes, I understand Ricky is good with John. I get that, I really do, but what I am saying is that the judge may not see how much Ricky loves him or that he is capable. Is it against the law for the judge not to give them the same shot, hell yeah it is, but does the law always instill justice in todays society? No it does not. And the judge could walk in and start fresh with both, and just simply decide that since he was already with the mom at her house and he visited, it should stay that way, especially due to the baggage, now that would just be awarding custody in the Juergen's favor. That was my point.

You are right, it is an absolute outrage that the lawmakers criticize the same laws they make and regulate, but thats today. that is why I want in with politics. I can and will change that. You are right, thats a double standard and they should be fired. At the end of the day though, not everyone will be like Ricky and able to break the cycle, so the lack of faith that the judges may have (after all, how can they not judge when their name is judge?) will influence their decision. Which again, I do not agree with, but it is true.
As far as this goes though, I think that they both want to be in John's life and be a team. they know 2 parents is best for him, so it would never go to this point. ever.

Actually Maria. I don't think Ricky can get full rights to John since he's in foster care. I'm pretty sure you aren't allowed to have full custody and be in foster care. Also, Ricky and Amy are a team. Ricky wouldn't want full custody of John because he knows it would be better if John grew up with a mother and father. Also it's not like she's done anything wrong with John, so he really couldn't take away her custody. I personally don't see what's wrong with Amy being protective of John. I mean I would find it horrifying if she just handed him out without worrying about him.
Also you have to remember that when she decided to keep John she told her mom that she could do this and that she would be a good mom. Apart of her must feel like if she's accepting help than she's not being a good mother. That she should be able to take care of John without any help from Ricky or Ben. Plus she whines a lot because she's mad that she has to get up so early and feed and change him. You seriously can't expect her to adjust that quickly to becoming a teenage mother.
Ricky has it easy. He can come over whenever he wants, he can leave whenever he wants. He doesn't have to walk up early or do any of the night shifts. Sure he offered, but only to make Ben jealous and it's not like Amy and Ricky are really close enough to where she wants him to see her sleep. Sometimes Amy can be a little too whiney, but with good reason. Phew! I needed to get this off my chest because everyone is cutting Ricky slack and saying, "Oh! What a wonderful father he is!" (which I'm not doubting, but I'd like to see him all alone with John during the night) and then they bag on Amy for complaining alittle.

You are right, Ricky does have it relatively easy, and I see and agree with your points. I eventually see them having Ricky come at night and in the morning or having John at each house for a few days every week, if all works out that is. What I do like about him is the fact that he has the job and is there in the morning and night, thats a good start and even if thats it thats pretty good at this stage in their lives. I think it will work. I do completely understand where Amy comes from too.
