Ok so heres my Labor Story.

Ok so on Monday I was having pretty regular contractions, coming 4-5 mins apart. I called my doctor and she said come into the L&D unit and so I did and they checked me and I was only dialted to 2.5 cm. They sent me back home and around Tuesday mid morning I was having contractions evey 4-5 mins again so I called my doctor. She asked hows my pain on the 1-10 scale i said about 7-8. So she told me to go to the L&D unit and she would meet me there. The nurse checked me and I was 3.5 and so I was admitted. I was put on a water IV and they started pitocin. I was contracting every 3 mins and about 2 hours later I was only 4 cm. My doctor decieded to break my water which I thought was the worst pain throughtout the whole labor and delievery! I asked for an epi and she said oh you'll have time hun....she said he was still *High Up* and told me to relax.....GRRRR.....After she broke my water I felt SOOOOO light and I could feel the baby really well. A few hours later the contractions were coming every 2 mins and I was dialted to 5.5 cm and after that I begged for the epi. I think it was maybe 45 mins after I asked for the epi another doctor came in. I was in tears I was so scared of the pain, Jason and my mom were holding my hands. It really didn't hurt, only a little pinch and little bit of pressure. Then I felt stupid for crying. About 20 mins later I kicked in and I was soo happy! Haha. (that was the time where I put sticky notes all over my face arm, drink haha) The nurse came in forgot what time and I was like 7cm (YAY ALMOST THERE) I was checked in the middle of the night sometime (I was out of it at night, I was so tired that that night is just a blur) I was 8cm. Caiden wasn't in a rush so I got a nap, around 4ish in the morning me, Jason, Britney and Melissa were playing Life. Around 5:30 I started pushing, his head was out at 6:02 and he was born at 6:09 am. (there is a typo in my Guess whos here? post I read 6:09pm by accident) Pushing was harder for me because I was numb and couldn't feel the contractions due to the epi. The pushing was very peaceful, no screaming, it was just me and Jason and the nurses and doctor. He came out screaming, a little swollen but he was fine. He had his circumcision the morning we were going to leave the hospital. He was great, he didn't cry at all during it! We left the hospital Friday around 4ish, and his first car ride he slept the whole way home.

He is a wonderful baby! Hardly crys, eats great, latched onto the breast instantly! I was so excited when he did, I was scared he wouldnt get ahold of the breastfeeding thing but he did! Were so happy to have him home!!
