we're doing something different

ABC Family: Cowgirl2012 Opperation: Iraqui freedom.

Opperation: Iraqui freedom.

Im just curious on how yall feel about the war. I plan on joining the Air Force or the Army as a medic so i can work along side my uncle in Iraq.

Why can't people stop asking if the war is right or wrong and support our troops? It dosen't matter if yout think it's right or wrong, there are men and women over seas fighting for this country and that should mean alot to everyone whether you agree with the war or not. I know this personally because my 1st cousin died over there and it pains me to think of how many people did NOT appreciate him.

I find the idea of not supporting the troops, no matter how you feel about the War, to be outright foolish. Fine you don't like the war, you don't accept the war, you want our troops out, thats fine. But atleast appreciate what the Troops are willing to do for you. You should always support the troops.

Hate The War, Not the Troops Big smile

Thank you, Unit for saying it like that. I can easily accept a reply like that. Both respectful and honest.

Just my honest opinion. Look I don't neccessarily support the current war. Mostly because when it comes to such things I tend to be a pessimist. I like the idea of giving Iraq and the Middle East in general peace and a stable government. I would really like to believe this is all...

But again this doesn't mean I don't support the troops or appreciate what they are willing to go through.

They have bigger balls then I do.

I don't mind that people don't accept the war. What bothers me is when they flat out chose to disrespect the troops. Doesn't matter the branch. It just bothers me, for obvious reasons. When people say they "can't understand how I married into THAT." It strikes a nerve that should never be touched. I appreciate the honesty and the fact you're willing to support those serving there though you don't really support the war.

Yeah I also don't get the people bashing the troops. If you don't like the war it makes sense to me to bash the politicians who started it not the poor boys and girls risking their lives in some hellhole. They deserve all the suport they can get

I know how you feel. My uncle is over there now. Last time he was home some lady spit at him and kept calling him a murder and all this crap. People need to grow up and be happy that we have strong military forces and be glad that they can go to school and live the free life that there living.

Well I sure loved Operation Iraqi Stephen Sticking out tongue As for the war I thought it was a horrible move and I am really sad we won't get to see a few politicians hang because of it(damn you modern times when you can get away with everything non sexual). However what is done is done and there is no more point in complaining about it. We should do the best of the situation we have and try to build a strong Iraq

I am ex-Military. We need to keep free. I am proud to see so many people want to still protect our country.

We're stationed in North Dakota. Been here 6 years. We're hoping to get orders soon. We've put in BOP's and such, but we've been shot down more times than one. So we're hoping by Jan we'll have orders in hand. But, I suppose PCSing if I am pregnant might be rough on me a tish. But, out of ND...as long as it's NOT Minot, I'm good, lol.

I would state my personal opinions, however(you thought i was going to say but didn't you,) voicing them here would only cause a little unwanted drama and seems rather pointless.
