Amy: She is overpossesive of John. She is rude to people that are just trying to help! She is horrible to the people who love her. Her mom is pregnant and she is giving her a hard time! How would Amy have felt if her mom treated her the way she is treating her. She needs to chill...
Ben: He is good for Amy. He is somewhat clingy, but he is there for her. He has reason to jealous...duh Amy and Ricky have a history (sure a short history, but a history). He is quite grown up for his age.
Ricky: I disagree with the people that think he is better for Amy than Ben. He has matured in some ways, but he lacks maturity too. He still has sex with Adrian even though he just had a baby with another girl. That is not a sign of maturity.
Adrian: She needs to get a clue. Ricky is not the kind of guy that stays with one girl. He has yet to stay with one girl for an extended amount of time. She needs to stop sleeping with him. She is never going to get what she wants.
Grace: I cannot believe what she did. She is unbelieveable. She spent the whole first season standing up for her beliefs, and then 5 seconds later she is tainting her label. I think that she should have been strong. It's not that hard! Also it has been two episodes, and I'm already fed up with her feeling sorry for herself. I would feel sorry for her is she didn't blame her father's death on her sinning.
Jack: I'm not very fond of him either. He is too easily talked into something. He says he's a christian yet he sleeps/hooks up with every girl he sees.
These are some of my thoughts. This show is full of great potential; I hope it lives up to it!
Also with the other characters Ben was there for amy and was really nice and supportive. He showed a lot of maturity last season, but majority of the time he was to clingy, got into a relationship to fast with amy knowing her situation and also because of that he now lacks some maturity because of jealousy and lust. Ben was not ready for this kind of relatonship and now it is starting to show. As for Ricky he has changed a lot and he has matured. Don't get me wrong he still has a lot of issues but ricky is a work in progress he's not going to fix his problems in a flash. Anyway I belive amy and ricky belong together. Not because of John or because he's hot I think they should be together because they honestly have feelings for eachother it's just that they themselves dont know what they want or how to express their feelings.
Well you have to realize that amy is a new teenage mom, of course she is going to be overprotective over her son and I understand people are trying to help out but you have to understand that being a mother is new and stressfull for her and she is just trying to get a handle on this mom thing.
Adrian is smart, but she is stupid when it comes to all the sex...who cares if she is protected she is still having sex!
Ricky got a girl pregnant who just had his baby...yet he still has sex!

I disagree with a lot of these. Especially Amy and Ben. Amy is protective over John, but what parent isn't? Ben is too clingy and all he wants it sex. I agree about Ricky. I hate both Amy/Ricky and Amy/Ben as couples. She needs to focus on John.
