What should Amy do?
Posted Tue, 12/23/2008 - 11:24 — Amy_JergensOk, so Amy has 3 options. She can : Keep the baby, put the baby up for adoption, or get an abortion. Now in my opinion, she is too young to have a baby, but she should still keep it. I mean, if she puts it up for adoption, she'll never see it and she'll regret it, and if she gets anabortion...i just don't think she could handle letting them kill her baby and neither could I. So what do u think???

Well, technically Amy could still get an abortion, even though she is practically in her third term of pregnancy, which would be HORRIBLE.

Sad thing is, abortions are legal right up until birth, haven't you heard of third term abortions? Those are the ones where the baby is born alive, and killed shortly after.

Actually that is not legal and is VERY illegal so I don't know what you're talking about. You can't get an abortion after the first trimester and any time you get an abortion any later than that it can only be if your health is at risk.
But since Amy is too late for an abortion she should put it up for adoption. I feel like if you can't get a job to support your child, you shouldn't have a baby.

Looks more like second term to me.....but in my state you can't go past the second term and in my state you normally have to have a good reason to get one and plus pay around $1,000 dollars but I HIGHLY doubt they'll let you get an abortion in 7 or 8 months. That's when the baby is almost due. And I doubt someone would wait that long.

Nope those were third term, trust me, I'd know (please don't start an arguement over the "trust me, I'd know", because I would know, I plan on becoming a neonatologist and have studied fetal development quite alot).
In the US it is legal for a woman to abort right up until birth-*wink wink* That's one of the reasons Obama (not worth an arguement either) didn't want to aloow medical care for children who survived abortions such as Sara Smith (one twin aborted, one twin surived, http://www.prolife.com/SARAH2.HTML) who survive abortions, either suction, D&C, or saliene.
