i think that maybe they need to cool her rudness down a little but otherwise i like her. it is just really hard for her cuz she has a baby, an annoying boyfriend, split parents, and a pregnant mom.

I'm not against her, but she does not need to be so irritable all the time, especially towards Ben.

I know I just do not like the "entitlement" attitude she had before when she expected her mother to do everything. If she wants a teen's life she should have given the poor child to an adult, financially stable couple.

I understand that she's going to be unhappy with her life, but there's absolutely nothing she can do about it. She chose to have sex, go through with the pregnancy, and keep the baby- she has to live with it. But her character is way too over the top on the bitchiness. The way she speaks to Anne is disgusting, if I was her I would have kicked Amy out to go live with George a long time ago. I certainly wouldn't put up with it. The way she treats Ben too, he should have dumped the little snot a long time ago. It's time for her to grow up, take responsibility, and be a woman, not a spoiled child who wants everything handed to her.

I'm kinda on the fence with her. I mean yeah, you need to sympathize for her because she's a new mother and has to balance school, work, a kid, family, and a horny boyfriend. But she chose that lifestyle, you know? She could have given the kid up for adoption-- but she didn't.
It also kinda bothers me that she thinks she's an adult just because she is a mother. She still needs to grow up.

Totally agree. I mean I'm sure if any of us here had a baby while being a teenager than we would not be all smiles and happiness. We would be snappy, we would be grumpy, we would be total b!tches. Amy probably gets little to none sleep, which might explain why she's so nasty. Also going to school, getting homework done, going to work, and having to take care of a baby is a lot.

I think Amy is so snappy with Ricky is because it's not like he has to wake up at 2 am and feed or change the baby. And even though he offered it was just to make Ben mad. Plus it would be a little uncomfortable for her to have Ricky watching her sleep. Although, I think that when George came over and cleaned and everything was unrealistic. Amy does need to learn how to do that stuff on her own.

But besides that I have no problem with Amy's character since she's acting like a real teenage mom. I'm glad to know some people understand this.

Because she is really annoying and brings the whole show down. They should really remove her character. Along with the baby and all the parents. Instead they should put in a few FBI agents,aliens and a talking turtle.

I like amys character alot!!! I agree shes a new mother adjusting to sleepless nights && all that but eveyone was like abcs making it seem easy for teens to have babies (with her getting a new job with insurence && eveyone helping her out)!! Its like make up ur mind u either think they made it to easy last season && now that there showing that is not u all are complaning!!! Its not suppose to be easy && shes not suppose to be all like yeah i have the best of two worlds i have my bf helping me && the daddy helping me & where gonna live happily ever after!!! She'll get use to it eventually!! Like in the movie Marley && Me how the mom was all stressed out && stuff!!! But she got use it!!! its [filtered word] every new mom no matter what age!!! I mean i know some moms (my aunt to be exact lol) who are in her 30's going to school to get her degree, going to work, taking care of a child && still be bitchy!!! I agree. Amy's always been one of my favorite characters, and I think the way she's acting is perfectly normal. Just like I think the way Grace is acting is perfectly normal, even though her logic may be a bit off.
