We should come up with a playlist of favorite sonds from the season (to replay obsessively until Jaunary, YAY!)
Of course it should include KSM's "I want you to want me"
and I love "California Save Me" from the Filthy Souls (the near kiss in ep. 3), but what else? What were people's favorite songs from the season?

I love the songs from the movie, Cruel to Be Kind by Letters to Cleo (who also sang I Want You to Want Me in the movie) and Your Winter by Sister Hazel. Those have always been my favorite from the movie even if they might not fit the Kat and Patrick on the show.

I went to our local parade today, and the Elks' float was playing "I Want You To Want Me!" I knew all of you would understand my glee.

OK, I have been loving the music selections for all of the episodes. Not to mention the titles of each epi is a song title. Got to love that! I made sure to buy them in itunes to support the artists. Here are just a couple of my favorites in no particular order. I've burned them on a CD for my car and I have an hour long commute. I like playing the show in my mind as I'm stuck in traffic.

1) Epi 2 - Carolina Liar - 'I'm Not Over' - when Kat is looking over her yearbook photos and caught Patrick in the background of the photo. Loved Kat's expression as she cropped the photo. The music was perfect for all her infatuation.

2) Epi 8 - Michael Rossback - "Carry Me On' - the slow dance song. Loved it. Not too sappy under K-Pat's first slow dance.

3) Epi 7 - Lovettes - 'I Need a Guy' - was that a perfect song for our little feminist? It set the epi up perfectly. She wants a guy that treats her like a lady. Oh so good!

4) Epi 1 & 10 - KSM - 'I Want You to Want Me' - still love Cheap Trick's version, but KSM does this song justice. And it is a perfect set up for our couple(s).

I have to look up those Filthy Souls songs. Thanks for the suggestion!

do they have to be songs from the show? because i listened to this song by The Wonders called I Need You (That Thing You Do) and BAM! patrick and kat came to mind, I don't know if we can post lyrics here but here are the parts that i think fits them the best:

oh and i liked the song K&P danced to "Carry Me On" and also the one at the end of Episode 4 "Fever"
