Kat and Patrick?

But what i want to know is, if he is a bad boy and they get together, will he expect something? and will she give in? and will he put up with her dad? and will the dad not approve and force them apart? and will he open up to her? and sooo much more...

there mshrmit I have to disagree... I think there are plenty of times that they become each others shoulder. For example, in "Don't Give Up" by refusing to take the bet, Patrick is backing her up. While he frames it as a put down, it is important to see the support he is giving her in his own way. Then in "Light My Fire" when he brings the records, it is VERY important to see this as a way that he is there for her, since the loss of her mom is still somewhat fresh (everyone mourns in different ways). So its a figurative shoulder, but a shoulder none the less. Finally, in the last episode, when she is chained to the tree. She is obviously alarmed by the new enforcement and infringements on their rights, and he becomes that shoulder that she leans, especially when seeing her pissed father. Whether he supports the cause or not, our devilishly delicious stud muffin is always lending.
I just want to see it the other way around - something along the lines of "Don't Give a Damn About My Bad Reputation" - Kat attempts it but Patrick doesn't really lean on it.
I LOVE IT... those are some great questions.
lets think about this. he is obviously out of his comfort zone, since he is used to being viewed as someone's prince charming and that whole dynamic is off here. being out of his comfort zone, i don't think he will expect something except that kat will do what kat wants. however, i think that kat will show some compromise when it comes to the two of them.
dad clearly doesn't approve...
i think that patrick will open up. they both had hard times in their past and personally i feel that patrick sees kat as an ally, friend and a shoulder to lean on at times. i think patrick opening up will lead kat to opening up to... getting rid of some of that "crusty exo-skeleton" as her sister so nicely puts it.
I get the ally and the friend part, but where are you getting the "shoulder to lean on" vibes? I'm not saying that it won't happen (it most definitely will), I just haven't seen any indication of this yet from either of them.
I agree, I don't see his actions so far to have been a "shoulder to lean on" nor do I think Kat really needed that shoulder yet. He's shown some support for her, but that's different, imo.
Yeah, I agree. To me, Patrick just brushes everything off as a joke. We haven't really seen a softer side of him yet, except for bringing the records.
