In a hurry to post? Just remember these main guidelines, and you'll probably be following the rules:

1. Keep it clean (with your language and your images).
2. Respect copyrights (don’t post logos, copyrighted images, clips, or any other copyrighted material).
3. Respect others (no libelous, insulting, or defamatory comments or posts).
4. Don't post show or episode suggestions (see below for deets on what a show suggestion is).
5. Don’t post information that identifies you personally. That means no links to your MySpace page, your email, your address, your phone number, etc.

Note: If you violate these rules, we'll remove your offending post from the forums. If you continually violate the rules, we'll ban you forever (and not in the fairy princess banned-forever way, either).

The following rule violations will result in your post being removed and/or you being banned from the site:
1. Posting insulting, bigoted, hateful, or racially offensive messages
2. Abusive and harassing activity such as flaming (being nasty), spamming (posting duplicate and off-topic messages), and flooding (sending a ridiculous amount of messages just to disrupt normal activity)
3. Posting show or episode suggestions. This includes fan fiction. For legal reasons, we cannot allow any episode suggestions, because they might be interpreted as a solicitation.
4. Posting personally identifiable information. Please report anyone who requests personally identifiable information from you. Do so at our Feedback page:

5. Advertising or selling anything
6. Impersonating people or faking someone else’s identity (verbally and/or visually)
7. Posting or transmitting any software
8. Violating someone else’s privacy, including celebs and even people you know
9. Violating copyrights of any kind – trademarks, logos, cartoon characters (e.g., Mickey Mouse)
10. Threatening violence or the life or well-being of anyone else
11. Writing or talking about performing illegal activities such as child pornography, stalking, sexual assault, fraud, trafficking in obscene or stolen material, drug dealing, theft, and copyright infringement
12. Describing any other illegal things you did or want to do
13. Posting or transmitting any computer virus or other code designed to harm other computers

Additional guidelines:
1. Don’t post information about your personal life. This is a public forum about "Falcon Beach". Though at times, the group may feel tight-knit and personal, there are always newbies coming through wanting to talk about the show. This means there are complete strangers reading your most personal thoughts… Not to mention the abcfamily.com moderation team.
2. Keep the conversations on-topic. Everyone is here because they’re interested in "Falcon Beach", so please don't dilute the focus by posting a ton of off-topic stuff.
3. Be aware that things you write might appear harsher than you meant them to sound. If you’re typing while angry, switch windows, have a cup of tea, and come back to it when you’ve cooled down. Remember -- there are real people with real feelings on the other side of the forum.
4. If you post about being in personal danger, we will report it to security. Your safety is important to us.
